Remarks

Our college has special bonding between seniors, juniors and batch mates. For my experience college is good. And management of this college is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

This college is good for diploma in engineering. There are different trade like diploma in metallurgical engineering, diploma in mechanical engineering, diploma in electrical engineering & diploma in electronics and telecommunications engineering. The course time is 3 years. Divided into 6 semesters exam.

Placement Experience

Placement of this college is average. This college have a different society for all trade which organised by student's unit. Yes, many internships is arranged by the society and the college teachers.

College Events

This college celebrates many events like freshers, teacher's day, social, reunion etc. The programmes like Fresher's teacher's day is organised by student units. Freshers are held on 4th September and teacher's day on 5th September. College celebrates Viswakarma puja, Saraswati puja.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure of this college is very low. For 2019 student the admission fees are- 1040 rupees only. The semester fee is around 250 rupees- to 300 rupees s only. The session fee for this college is around 1700-2000rs only. If you are far from college campus you can live in a mess.

Campus Life

For my experience campus life is awesome. In this college, you can find basic physics lab, basic chemistry lab, CAD lab etc. This college has different workshop for different trade students. College have a different workshop like an electrical workshop, welding workshop etc.

Alumni/Alumna

All the seniors are helpful. They help all new students in education, projects etc. All the pass out of this college is invited by the college in reunion.

At first, I participate in the JEXPO examination of 2019. Then I got a general rank of 20961. Through online counselling, I get a seat allotted to this college in diploma in metallurgical engineering. College is awesome. If you complete your secondary education then you can participate in JEXPO exam.

Faculty

This college is for diploma in engineering. There are different trade like diploma in metallurgical engineering, diploma in mechanical engineering, diploma in electrical engineering & diploma in electronics and telecommunications engineering. This college have special teachers for a different trade. Special teacher for the workshop. Special teacher for engineering drawing.

GOOD AND BIG COLLEGE CAMPUS IN DURGAPUR

Course Curriculum Overview:

As civil department allows for both private and government job, so I selected this course. Faculty: student ratio is 40:60. All faculty are being post graduate and also teaching method is also good. In one year there is 2 semester and also class mock test, internal exam.

Mainly the students are eligible for campus placement from the 5th Semester. Many companies visited in our college the most common company was Tata Steel, l&t, TCS, etc. The highest average package provides by the company is tata company, the package was most about 30000rs. Almost 50% of students are gate a job from our college and others are gated a new govt job or go to Btech. My plan is simple. After completing college, I want to achieve a govt job.

As this is the Ramkrishna Mission when we got into the college we feel very peaceful and go to the Mandir we can feel the peace. The environment of the colleges so good everywhere so many trees and there is a very big playground for all students to play with every day.

Principal Maharaj, teaching and non-teaching staff, present and ex-students always feel proud of the college. This is the best government diploma engineering college in West Bengal. The college campus is very peaceful. The students get a very good platform for their future.

You have to crack the entrance exam in West Bengal which is Jexpo to get admission to this college. You have to rank under 13000 to get into this college. After this they gave a date for counselling, I have selected a Diploma in metallurgy in Engineering institute for junior executives. Top Placement in 2020 for Metallurgy and Mechanical students.

After 12th I have appeared for the Jexpo exam then securing a good rank and through counselling, I get this college and Choose metallurgical engineering. If anyone wants to join after the 10th they should follow the same process. if anyone wants to join after ITI then they have to appear for the Voclet exam. EIJE is best for Mechanical and Metallurgy students

To get this college you have to score in Jexpo exam for 3 years Diploma program and voclet exam for 2 years Diploma after ITI and as per your last qualification you have to score minimum 45% in science. I have applied few more colleges but i choose it and Metaluurgy department becuase of its placement history and reputation also Howrah is better option for me than going to other areas.
