Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was pre determined to choose bachelor of arts since school due to my cousin and never regretted the decision. The curriculum was good but bit outdated. Professors just used to stick to textbook content. Exams were unit tests and semester exams 2 respectively

Fees and Financial Aid

I remember I used to pay around 5-6 k per year as my college was a aided one. Everything was inclusive in the fees I mentioned. I was in open category others had discounted fees. There were caste fee relaxations. Recently I got to know my college became autonomous so fees were increased. Since I passed out in 2022 I have no more idea

Campus Life

4

Campus life was good. Fests were celebrated and exhibitions too. Library was accessible to everyone with computer and internet connection. As far I remember in 2017 before Covid my college had traditional classroom teaching method with full attendance. Sports day was also conducted every year. There was women's development cell, language groups, counselling services and extra curricular activity clubs for students.

Admission

I had choosen this college as first specifically. It was a good one and nearby to me. I don't remember other college's acceptance as I took the admission in this one because my name was on the merit list as expected. I got into the college because of Sanskrit subject and got a seat at 76%. I got admission in grade 11 after clearing standard 10 so there was no specific exam for admission. Admission experience was smooth I applied online, got merit list result, went to college got all necessary information, filled online forms, submitted hard copies with necessary documents and admission was confirmed in college itself

Faculty

4

When I was a student in 2017-2022 faculties were really good and experienced people. Course structure was traditional. Teaching was best. Exam system was just the traditional way you learn in class then give exam of 50-100 marks and get results on open day. Marking schemes were short to long answers and marks were allotted respectively

Night Life

4

There were no hostel, gym services. There was a ground and garden around college with ample clean space to walk around. There are no famous hangout places nearby or within. Canteen was okay when I was a student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's good, it's fun and I enjoy it. It changes every sem and that's why we also get to explore more of the subjects. It also depends on the professor tho. First year is to chose 6 different subjects and explore. Then second year you get to choose one major and two minors. Major are then divided into 3 parts, the 2 minor subject are elaborated and one compulsory subject which is English, this continues for third year. There are 2-3 additional subjects that change every sem too like PE, EVS, etc.

For a person who into music production this is the best course and College but any other music field consider other options. The administration is too poor and are harsh on the students but the teaching faculty is supportive.
