Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is well structured. It has relevant course matter required. The course structure includes crutial topics like personal financial management. It needs to have more hands on practical things required for corporates.
Placement Experience
Placement is catching pace in the college as the campus is not that old so we get limited number of companies coming to our college for placement. Overall it still has scope of improvement in the near future.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am a foreign student studying at Symbiosis centre for management studies: $650 per semester (academic fee) $1210 per year (hostel & message free) Scholarship: golden jublee scholarship (50%) for foreign nationals
Campus Life
My experience in the club of the college has been a great learning experience. I have been part of the business event and financial market club since semester. I have learned so many skills like budgets making, and have enhanced my communication skills and have become more confidant as a person.
Hostel Facilities
I live in hostel. The hostel's infrastructure was good till 1 year when it was made but after that the condition deteriorated. We have 5 floors and my room is in 5th where the ceiling leaks and lots of insects come in the room and the water line is poor as most of the time we don't get water for doing basic things like brushing, bathing and more.
Admission
I choose this college as it is located in a good city that is bengaluru which is tech hub of the city and lots of emerging startups and also the college processes good reputation which will help me get good placement in future.
Faculty
For 4 credit cource we get 4 components: (4*15=60) 15 marks Mid term co1 25 marks assignments 60 marks end term exam Relative marking is done for evaluation of marks. We have good faculty and are really well trained people having phds and mbas and other degrees
Interview Experience
I went through English proficiency test and interview. I prepared for different mock tests for practice and went through practice sessions. These sessions equipped me to perform well in the test and interview.
Night Life
Unfortunately there is no night life in my campus as my hostel is 5-10 minutes in walking distance from the college. We can just roam around in the hotel premises and talk to friends that is just about it.
