It is good. The teachers are good and well educated. They clear every doubt of students. Improvements- There should be more practical classes than lecture class. It will be more good to get understanding of programming languages

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 40500 per year

Internships Opportunities

I do no thave any idea of companies. There were mostly non-tech companies which came for placement. Very few tech companies came in my course. There usually send assessment and then GD, PI followed by final round.

Placement Experience

Though the placement record was good. but due to recession in 2024, unfortunately very less company came for placement. I was not got placed there. I applied for off- campus placement and did internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees structure for M.Sc. Data Science was Rs.81,000 and there is CUCET entrance exam. In this exam , you have to clear it with good marks and based on that you can get scholarship. You can continue to get the benefit of scholarship by getting 7.5 CGPA per semester. The fees for complete course is 1,62,000 but it keeps increasing by every new session year.

Campus Life

They celebrate every festival with joy including state festivals, national festivals etc. There are clubs in every department who organises many events including different competitions, hackathon, tests etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hotel is well maitained and they provide every facility to the students including stationary, cafe, tuck shop in the hostel. The mess food is okay okay as you start feeling the same taste in every dish.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

The course which i was looking for is available in this college. I look for many colleges but there was no such course provided by them. I have no applied to any other college. The specialization which i was looking for, was in Chandigarh University in that time.

Faculty

Every is well educated and punctual in every lecture. they try to connect with every students and make sure that they understand whatever they are teaching. There are two MSTs which are monthly tests conduct by college in every semester.

Night Life

The nightlife is good in the campus as there security aligned in every corner of the campus. My experience was so good in the hostel stay. Libraries and gyms was well maintained. There are many cafes, Tuck shops, stationaries in the campus itself.

University life

Likes

The infrastructure and faculty is very good. The university campus is very big containing different departments with the well qualified teachers. The teaching methods are very good and we can approach easily to the management for our queries.
The discipline is very well in the university campus. The proper follow up of rules and regulations is there in the campus. The rules regarding ragging are very strict and nobody will be forgive if caught in such offences.
The placement rate of the university is quite well in each and every department whether it is biosciences or engineering or any other department. The university ensures that each and every deserving student should get placement.

Dislikes

The first thing I dislike about university is the students are not allowed to use lifts because for some departments the classes takes place on top floors and it is very difficult for students to climb those floors multiple times.
The other thing I dislike is the problem of traffic outside the main campus gate in morning mad evening time. It take lot of time to get out of that traffic and it ultimately makes students late for their classes.
The last thing I dislike is there is no free transportation services for students inside campus because the size of university is very big and to go from one point to other the students have to walk a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course offers theoretical as well as practical knowledge It prepare me very well for outside life and obstacles that I will face in outside world I think individual students must be asked for learning There is no such difficulty level
