Remarks

Positive: if you have daring and positive attitude towards study then no one can stop you to get job from college. Faculty is helping to solve the problem but you must have respect to them Negative remarks: for the practical knowledge you must have to strive for that otherwise you will suffer in placement

Course Curriculum Overview

In our college, there are 2 exam. In which one college take there exam of 30 marks then gtu takes their final exam of 70 marks. After combination of 70+30= 100 marks they are declairing cpa for the perticular sem exam.

Placement Experience

2.5

For the Placement, no of company visited in our college is good. But it does not have good count of technical job. In my batch there are 145 student out of them 65 student got placed from college. In 65 count 20 student are in technical job and rest are non technical.

College Events

In our college, imaze is big occasion for us because it is 5 day technical program. We have inter college competition so lots of learning and enjoying moment. Every year we celebrated navratri. Annual day on which we had lunch and guest is invited to deliver knowledge.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite expensive and the services are limited. Comparatively fees are higher than other self finance college. If you got scholarship from the government then you can study there. I got 50000 annum scholarship from Gujarat government. In 2014 to 18 we paid 52500rs per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college if got 10/10 spi then your 100% fees is given back. There is no such loans offered to student. If want to get scholarship then you must have to get good mark in your high school so you are eligible for getting scholarship from government.

Campus Life

We don't have a play ground we used common play ground which is located near bvm college. In our college we have a sports teacher who select the student and do competition. We have a good lab but I have always question about practical knowledge. In our college have different group like ASME, iste and IEEE in which number of activities are doing.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel structure is in very bad condition. So I request to not to stay there. There are many problems to stay. Lack of cleaning sanatory. Lack of people to clean hostel room. Hostel rector is not stay to here your problem.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes right now I also have connect with my junior as well as my senior. My seniors are helpful. Right now I also help to my junior. We have group on Facebook and WhatsApp on which we are continuous contact with them so if we have any party then come together and enjoy.

Admission

I got admission through ACPC. In this process gscb + jee mains are considered. 40% of jee mains + 60% of average gscb Mark is considered. Average of gseb mark means total 4 semester cummulve mark. First form filling then 4 no of round.

Faculty

In our college, the faculty is good at par level of knowledge. Some of the subject teacher are very good but in 3-4 subject teacher are extremely bad teaching. Practical lab are good but the knowledge giving is limited.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

Overview of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology

I did not apply to any other colleges as I wanted to go for Mechatronics engineering and not many colleges in Gujarat provided that course during my admission time. The other option was Parul University which I did not want to go to because of the negative academic reviews of the said university. G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology however, had a good reputation based on their academic and hi-tech practicality which made me surely want to choose this college for my education. The admission process was very easy as I went through the final round of the admission process of ACPC. I was immediately accepted and the paper work and the formalities were carried out by the administration department very smoothly. There were no said external entrance exams for the said course and the result for the 12th board was the only thing that was required. The orientation and campus tour was also provided on the day of admission itself which made it easier for me to understand the layout of the campus and also meeting the few faculty members was very insightful on the first day itself....Read More
