Course Curriculum Overview

4

As a student, I feel there is a lot of improvement need to be made in the course design. As we are made to write in obserevations and records more than practically on the computers. As a computer science student, I feel this method takes us nowhere. The teaching methods should be improved by changing the 1hour long lectures to let us experience programming and other domains by guiding us and letting us have risks. As this provides us confidence and pracrical knowledge. When we talk about exams, the exams are three hour duration. Each sem consists of mid1,mid2,lab internals, externals and sem-end exams. Their difficulty level are medium.

Internships Opportunities

4

As I am a first year student, I found out from my seniors that the scholarship they are offered donot provide them jobs, where the knowledge matters the most. Many students go for different domains like in my course full stack developer, prompt engineer, hacker, data scientist and so on. My seniors work on projects starting from 2nd year with mini and major projects and continue with projects until fourth year which play a major role in interviews and getting hands on experience.

Placement Experience

4

The highest package in our college is 17.5lakhs per annum. Most of the students from first year itself are joining interships and getting worthy experince. The placements started for the students of third year where the talented ones also get in second years where they can join the jobs right after their graduation. The percentage of students getting placements varies according to the companies offering the job, most of them have 7gpa.many companies like accenture take regular interviews for our college. As I am a first year student, I plan on attempting gate exam or government exams like groups.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am an SC category student and a day scholar student from uppal and also got the seat through EAPCET TS,The year wise fee includes bus fees of 25,000 and JNTUH fee of 5,000 every year. While the fee varies with respect to caste and the type of entry exam you have taken. The management seats have higher fee compared to seats alloted through government exams(like 2 lakhs per year on average),and it varies with respect to the course you have opted. One of my batchmate pays 1lakh per year as a student of btech in computer science excluding the bus fee. There are a number scholarships offered based on your caste, inter merits and more like the entrance exams. I personally like the fee structure because the college provides affordability for worthy courses.

Campus Life

3

The campus life has both pros and cons. Where we dont get alot of free or games periods yet are encouraged to participate in different games and domains. We have branch wise fest every sem including technical and cultural events. We also have an annual fest with whole college where there are lots of surprise and cultural events providing a great experience. There are english clubs, and our branch club names as Mc arti club providing different experiences and knowledge. The social groups help me develop communication skills and enhance our confidence. We have a nice library consisting of many books and online facilities but upset to tell that we dont have lot of time during college hours to visit the library as our timetable is packed with academic classes

Admission

I applied to amrita university in coimbatore and also attempted the entrance exam. But I could not join because of their fee structure and was also very distant from my current location.I have also written jee mains and advanced exams, but I got seats very long from my location. As a girl student, my parents feared my safety and could not join those colleges. I have written TS EAPCET exam, where I got 45k rank. As I was an SC category student, I opted for ace engineering college keeping the distance, affordability and the campus in mind.I had no difficulty in admission because there was an easy process where only the document verification killed a lot of time as they were done carefully.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:32. The faculty to student relationship is very friendly. As a student I find my faculty very supportive as they encourage me to join in different hackathons and teach me the subject in a way I understand. I think the course curriculum should be improvised to specific and relevant subjects according to our course and let students have more experience learning practically than theoretically. Moreover, most of the faculty use telugu language yet when students face difficulty they communicate well even in english.

Night Life

3

The college timings are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. We have accessibility to a small outdoor hym area, canteen, few stalls, library as well as our garden in the centre of the campus. The hostel has strict rules keeping safety of the students in mind. Famous and most liked places in our college and outside are the garden in the centre of our campus, snackbell, under the moon and so on. We have security gaurds and wardens always available to students and gaurding them. So, there is no need to worry about saftey in our college though you cannot find very good places to visit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is updated regularly with topics that match current technology trends. We get enough time to complete assignments and improve our understanding. Internal assessments and presentations also help in overall learning. I feel more elective subjects can be added to give students wider career options.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is one of the best parts of studying at NIAT. The subjects are designed according to what companies are looking for today, so we get to learn the latest technologies and ai tools. Classes are not limited to just lectures. Wr start using laptop from the first sem itself and most of our learning happens through coding, practical sessions, and real projects. This hands on approach makes learning more interesting and helps us understand concepts much better than just studying from books
