What Students Say

Likes

The low number of students in each class helping to focus more

Dislikes

The distance of college from the city. Takes 4 hours to commute everyday

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very on par with the modern technology and industry hiring practices. With many courses like competitive coding, and all of the basic programming languages in the first semester itself like python, web development.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are on par with every other private college. The highest package being 80lacs. And average being 8lacs per annum. My plans are to get a high paying job and then pursue my master's along with working.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees is split in semesters. Eac semester I pay 70,000 in tution fees and 25,000 in transportation fees. All of my batch mates doing B.Sc. Hons have the same feeling structure. Scholarship are provided 25% based on students achievements and high cgpa

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty boring to be honest. If you don't find good friends. As the campus itself is very small compared to other private unis. But the library is a good place offering books on every subject there is. All of the classrooms have smartboards and whiteboards.

Admission

Because this college had the specialization I needed which is Cybersecurity and the curriculum is very much on par. Which I liked the most and finalized to go with this college. The admission process is simple. You register give an online exam. Then clear the interview round and if you're selected you'll be asked to pay the fees

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is very high. The faculty is very helpful and approachable. I like all of the faculties as they focus on the students and the topics. And instead of theoretical knowledge they help us trigger our brain with practical examples.

Night Life

The night life is non existent as the college is in a secluded place and me being a day scholar. I don't know much about the Night Life aspect of my college. But considering the information my friends gave me the hostel Life is very interesting with many hostel events regularly being held

Great Career Opportunities

Likes

The campus is very open and well structured
It has spacious classrooms and great auditoriums
The labs and research labs are constructed exceptionally well

Dislikes

Some classrooms don't have projectors and smart boards
Hostel mess food isn't exactly great, only few canteens provide actual tasty food
The university's clubs aren't given many opportunities to put on events and are handled very strictly

Placement Experience:

The last year of your course is for internships and placements and Amity University greatly helps out in both areas the highest package is 5 LPA from only the bachelors degree. There are many companies that visit like Amul, Yakult and Mother Dairy etc. The university makes sure that every student in the batch is placed and has placement cells to help them out

Exams exhaust me a lot, but they handleable

The better choice for bachelor's degree

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the campus which makes everything seem flawless and easy going.
The faculty is very friendly and understanding which makes it easy to learn from them.
The campus events make the curriculum interesting.

Dislikes

I don't very much like the food from the campus, it offers variation but the taste almost stays the same.
There's no particular uniform which makes it harder to dress Nicely on daily basis.
I sometimes don't like to change blocks for the labs as all the labs are in a seperate block.

Placement Experience:

The students are allowed to apply for campus placements after completing their bachelor's. There are several companies offering lab workers position and forensic analysts posts. I'm planning on Master's degree form amity after completing bachelor's for higher education.

College World

I applied to a few other colleges like Amity University and Galgotiyas University. But due to high fees and long distance I did not join them. Also in some colleges, I didn;t get the branch i wanted. I chose KR Mangalam University because it offers BTech CSE with a good curriculum, affordable fees and it is near my home. The college also has a decent placement record and good infrastructure. the classrooms, labs, and environment are nice as well. Admission process here was very simple. I just had to fill out the online form then submit my documents and attend a small interview session. I got admission based on my 12th board marks. There was no entrance exam and the staff helped alot during the admission process....Read More
