Remarks

You will love the beauty of the campus all greeny and also a good climate. One most important thing is its the library. The world-class library where you get lots of books to choose from according to your interest

Course Curriculum Overview

Excellent according to market trend but recently they increase the fees which is not a good thing they did. A good number of practices which help the student to learn theoretical concept easily. Proper coordination of teacher

Placement Experience

3.5

Job opportunities are good, they provide more than 100 companies, across all possible dimension starting from banking to core engineering. Yes they provide compulsory internship opportunity to each and every student

College Events

Thomson is a cultural fest organize every year and it was great fun during your study. Cognizance is another technical fest where not only student of IIT showcase their talent but other student from another institute come to take part

Fee Structure And Facilities

With the recent increase in fees, it is quite Expensive for the ug course. But they provide monetary help to those of low-income families by providing money in the form of scholarships. Their also many more scholarships

Fees and Financial Aid

Mcm, they offered a scholarship for that student who has good marks and whose parents income is less. There you will get all your tution fees back in your account every semester. There is also a scholarship for the meritorious student also

Campus Life

Inter IIT is an annual competition where students come from different iits to one hosting IIt and compete in different sports. A sport like a hockey cricket squash badminton tennis athletics basketball volleyball

Hostel Facilities

Good hostel infrastructure greeny everywhere. There are also some new hostels which are quite swanky. Every hostel has its respective mess inside the hostel and also the canteen. There was a badminton court in every block of the hostel

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, very much you can search anyone name on social media they are really helpful and easily sort out your problem. This institute is from 1930 and it has the largest network of alumni network and a great person came from this institute

Admission

I did my 10th from my hometown then left my hometown and went to kota for the preparation of iit jee and took the admission in resonance their I did 2 years coaching for iit after I give my exam in 2011, there I didn't able to qualify but got selected in the extended merit list. After that, i took a 1year drop for the preparation of IIT jee 2012. And I cleared that exam with an AIR of 2389.

Faculty

Good faculty helpful give good guidance. They have reputed faculty who are doing great research in their respective field. Many teachers recently came into national headlines due to their achievements. Overall good atmosphere

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Likes

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

I did not choose IISC, as I wasnt sure whether I wanted my career to be in research. My coaching faculties advised me not to take an NIT when I was getting a top 7 IIT.
