Course Curriculum Overview
Banking and finance are instrumental in any business to run and I wanted to have a core of it in .h system. So I chose this course and I am happy that I got this course. In the second year we have financial subjects and now I am getting some idea on how our subjects and all are going to be in future.
Internships Opportunities
Intenrship I missed out after first year but from second year onwards internships in renowned financial institutions are provided and many top financial institutions like Motilal Oswal, Axis Securities and all is where internships were provided to us.
Placement Experience
As of now it's the industries and small business owners who have been taking studnets of our college. SMSE are less in Bihar and once they start coming out placements rate will skyrocket which currently stands at 50%.
Fees and Financial Aid
At Patna Women's College fees for B.Com In Accounting and Finance is 98000 a year. This is more or less same for all as fees doesn't change much here as it has been the same for last 3 years. SC/ST and people with disability get admission fees concession as they have to pay 40% less.
Campus Life
One floor of hotel above the Computer Science block is what we have for hostels. We also have some areas left open as we night see a new hostel coming there given the number of outsiders that study here. Academic blocks are the best and the best is the science block. Cafeteria of our college is as good as hotels of our area.
Admission
I honestly didn't apply anywhere as my parents sent me to Patna was itself and achievement for me. Luckily that the best college in state is a women's college and it was based on cut-off like around 90% in the final list as it started with 94%.
Faculty
Our college has notable names as they were medalists and have also taught in Delhi University. Since they have corporate experience they have given us enough leeway on way the things work in outside campus.
Night Life
For non hostel students the college gate is open to leave after 5 pm and for hostel studnets 6 pm is the limit. Our locality is safe as Patel Road has many five star hotels in the area and one such is Lemon Tree Hotels.
