Course Curriculum Overview

3

?I'm from a commerce background since my school time and the exposure to real world applications like taxes, management which we have deal in our daily life influenced my decision to choose this course. ?The curriculum prepares me well for real world applications as it taught us how to use tally and do business statistics in pc. ?The areas of improvements in teaching method according to me is to make the things more practical rather theory. For example:- accounts should be taught on tally rather than the traditional method.

Placement Experience

2

?From 5th semester onwards student becomes eligible for campus placement ?The companies visited:- ICICI Bank, Wipro, Max Bupa, S&P Global, FIS and others. ?Highest package:- 7.1-7.5 Lpa Average package:- 4.0-4.8 Lpa ?Around 40%

Admission

I applied for many North and South Campus colleges. But I did a mistake in making the preference list and hence I got this college. ? The admission process:- ?must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board ?You have to give CUET-UG to get admission

Faculty

4

?Total enrolled students:- 3700+ Total faculty and staff:- 230+ Which makes the ratio = 1:16 ?The best faculties in the college are:- psychology, geography and social work. I personally like the psychology faculty as they are really nice and coordinate with you really well. ? There are 2 semesters each year. They are moderate in difficulty level and most of the students pass even if they study a little bit.

Interview Experience

3

I didn't face any group discussion yet but there are some topics I know. Role of celebrities in brand endorsement” ?Corruption is a necessary evil for success. ?Technology topics: e.g. robotics in surgery, robotics in agriculture. ?Genetically modified food: advantages and disadvantages. ?Government policies, public issues, current affairs, environment, social justice etc.

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
