Life at GLA

I recommend GLAU to every other person who is willing to add value to their life and career. I learned a lot about life, the real world during my MCA at GLA University. I am proud of the fact that GLA has somehow helped me to reach where I am today. The education, values, and life I got there are still with me.

I got to know about Gla through a few of my sources. so I visited the website as well as the college. I really liked the infrastructure, placements, faculty, and course offered and so I decided to take the admission. the admission process is simple. students can visit the college website for online admission, completing the admission procedure by filling the form, payments and generating a hall ticket for the entrance test, in case of an offline admission procedure vice-versa.

In the last few years, GLA university is holding a record of 35+ company visits, 301 placement offers, 106 early joinings and the highest annual package of Rs. 12,02,000many reputed companies have been visiting the department repeatedly in the last couple of years, the university provides up to 5 opportunities to every student to select their career path. They also focus on placing students in various establishments according to their area of interest and specialization and arrange numerous corporate interactions in the form of guest lectures, national conferences, workshops, seminars, webinars, and industrial visits to enable students to understand real-life situations and experiences.

Various types of events, webinars, conferences, guest lectures are being organized for the development of the students. The college focuses on creativity and innovation at the same time by organizing role plays, corporate interaction, specialized seminars, management games, and cultural activities.

I has been completed Btech in Civil Engineering which is 4 years course. The eligibility required of this course 10+2 examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with chemistry/computer science with at least 50% marks in the above subjects, taken together and 50% marks overall. Admission process based on performance in GLAET (an online MCQ test of 120 minutes). Fee structure- Rs.78,000/- per semester or Rs 1,53,000 per annum.

Students also get a chance to have scholarships worth Rs. 33,000 per annum for candidates passed with more than 90% marks. Rs 25000 per annum for candidates passed with 80-89% marks in physics, chemistry & mathematics at 10+2 level as per eligibility requirement.

Campus life at GLAU is very happening on weekends. The campus enjoys a vibrant socio-cultural environment. The cultural fest is organized annually, in which we are encouraged to showcase our talent and creativity. We also get a chance to contribute constructively towards community upliftment at the social front advance laboratories, enriched library & reading rooms, webinar room, etc are being provided.

When I glance back I see GLA as a strong base builder for me to achieve well in my carrier, providing a platform to enhance my skills and opportunities to channelize it well. I was selected as getting in Padmini VNA Mechatronics in 2016, through campus recruitment. Being completely unaware of a corporates culture I started off on learning different methodologies. Today I am working as a Design Engineer in a reputed brand Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre.

Faculties are very supportive and enthusiastic. Always pump up the students for going better day by day though strictness is being maintained most of the time to discipline the students. They encourage and motivate at the same time and the best mentor every student wishes to have.
