- As per experts our BBA program is equivalent to PGDM.
- Our subjects are core management subjects and there are many mix of subjects which are electives.
- Industry practitioners are our faculties and they bring in a lot of insights with them.
Dislikes
- Very tight schedule here and also university being way off from Bangalore we have time only during weekends for personal things.
Course Curriculum Overview
TAPMI and it's course is a household name and hence it was not an impulsive call but a very calculated one. Now since I am studying here the only issue is that it's hectic otherwise I don't seek any changes as morning 8.30 to the days we have guest lectures, we have to be on our toes till 6nor somethimes even 7 pm.
Placement Experience
So far in Bengaluru the first batch will start it's placements from 2027 so it is still hanging. However TAPMI Manipal can be taken in context as the same set of companies for sure will be here for placements and companies like JP Morgan Chasez Yes Bank and others the ones with whom TAPMI has their tie-ups with.
Fees and Financial Aid
TAPMI Bengaluru is a new one which has been installed at MAHE Bengaluru campus. Just like the Manipal one this is also as prestigious and good as that. Only with two courses BBA (Hons) and MBA, I am doing BBA and the fees for the same from this year is 4,10,000. Hostel fees too over 2 lakhs and thus it's a four years course and a total of 24 lakhs will be required to pass BBA (Hons) from Tapmi Bengaluru.
Campus Life
Our university annual fest is Atharva and TAPMI fest is KALA. Both the fests are high budget affairs and with grace that TAPMI pulls them noone else can even dream of. Our university is huge and houses 7 colleges of Manipal University but TAPMI is the best of them all. Sports stadium is already there and new sports are added and soon we will have a sports village at the campus.
Hostel Facilities
Currently there's just one tall girls hostel and all the rooms as of now are two seaters. Our rooms are like an IT cubicle as from smart ACs to digital lights we have them inside our hostel. Mess is also in the same building and dinner ends around 10 pm.
Admission
I applied only at Symbiosis as that was the only college I felt is good for UG Management program but still TAPMI being TAPMI, and once I was confirmed admission here I immediately filled the form. IPMAT, JIMAT and Manipal Entrance Test, all three scores are valid for admission in TAPMI Bengaluru.
Faculty
TAPMI Bengaluru itself is an university that has produced management stalwarts. So our faculties too are stalwarts and poster people of any faculties for BBA in any university in India. This is the stature as manynof our professors have been to Finland as that has the best education in the world. Thus they train us and our university send them for training.
Night Life
Manipal University Bangalore campus is built dar from Bangalore and therefore to ensure that students don't step out, it is in such an isolated area that apart from a small general store, we have nothing close to the campus. It takes close to 3 hours for to and fro from main areas of Bengaluru.
