Remarks

College management staff is not expanding as much as it take as fees also general facilities are not up to mark as fees are very high above 1 lacs compared to other college but education standards are plus point .

Entrance Preview

I am student from CBSE i have rank 542 in CBSE quota of marit and easily selected for entrance as most CBSE students want just government college .

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Gcet linked with gujarat technology university located at ahmadabad i think gtu is not good as deam university course structure subjects are not properly arranged in smooth manner and according to requirement.

Internships Opportunities

Students are required to find company for their own for internship for which college will issue request letter for training during vacation or free time other than exams and ongoing college lectures.

Placement Experience

From last some years gcet have better placement about 200-300 students many companies like l&t, infosis, tata motors, reliance, adani, supergas and many more will come for placement purpose mostly it companies have better numbers.

College Events

4.5

College have imaze technical festival every year or two years as national or state level events are held with participation of about 1500 students arranged by college .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its very expensive as per general fees structure of just above 100000 which increase every year about 8-10% but compared to other college its as average as per results .

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan / scholarship offered by college or staff you may have loans from bank or other ngo if required .

Campus Life

Generally equality is observed in gender robotics workshops and support is very good from college as also mechatronics branch is there in college college also have about 10 to 15 lacs expenditure on robotics .

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel is not as good but its just stayable for one year as per college norms forcefully mess facilities are not also as good .

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Gcet alumni network is very wide spread as college have more than 20 years old as first private engineering college of gujarat also seniors are very helpful during college review in placements .

Exam Structure

Exams are taken as per gtu university schedule mostly midsem and end semester exams and viva are major of them nothing much .

Faculty

4.5

Most faculty was very good and experienced as old and fame private college of gujarat but some exceptional faculty is always there like every college also workshop staff is very helping.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

Overview of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology

I did not apply to any other colleges as I wanted to go for Mechatronics engineering and not many colleges in Gujarat provided that course during my admission time. The other option was Parul University which I did not want to go to because of the negative academic reviews of the said university. G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology however, had a good reputation based on their academic and hi-tech practicality which made me surely want to choose this college for my education. The admission process was very easy as I went through the final round of the admission process of ACPC. I was immediately accepted and the paper work and the formalities were carried out by the administration department very smoothly. There were no said external entrance exams for the said course and the result for the 12th board was the only thing that was required. The orientation and campus tour was also provided on the day of admission itself which made it easier for me to understand the layout of the campus and also meeting the few faculty members was very insightful on the first day itself....Read More
