Course Curriculum Overview

4

I feel the course curriculum is well planned and covers both theoretical knowledge and practical subjects. It helped me understand the basic concepts required for higher studies and industry. The syllabus follows JNTUH guidelines and includes laboratory sessions for better learning. There are two mid examinations and one semester examination in each semester, and the difficulty level is moderate. I think adding more industry-based projects, workshops, and practical training would make the curriculum even more useful for real-world applications.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are we get from college and also if get them from outside also they will encourage us by giving permissions to go and our mangement will encourage in interships some times we get paid internships and sometimes only for learners.

Placement Experience

4

Placements in the college are decent, and students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies from IT, core, and service sectors visit the campus based on the branch. The average package is around ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies every year. A fair number of students get placed, especially those with good academic performance and technical skills. The college also provides placement training, aptitude classes, and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my technical skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my batch, the fee structure was good and not much increasing every year. The tuition fee was around ?65,000 per year, so total fee for 4 years was nearly ?2.6 lakhs. At the time of admission, we also paid admission fee, registration fee and caution deposit. Every year, lab fee, library fee, examination fee and development fee were also compulsory. These charges were not very high. Students from SC and ST categories got fee reimbursement and scholarship from Telangana Government if they are eligible. Some students also received merit scholarships based on marks. Management quota students paid higher fees than convenor quota students. Overall, college fee is affordable compared to many private engineering colleges, and scholarships helped many students to continue their studies without much financial problem.

Campus Life

4

My overall campus life has been good and enjoyable. The college conducts annual cultural and technical fests, usually during February or March, where students actively participate in various events. The library has a good collection of textbooks, reference books, and journals that are useful for academics. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors and basic teaching facilities. The campus also encourages sports like cricket, volleyball, badminton.

Admission

I chose Ellenki College of Engineering and Technology because it offers good academics, experienced faculty, affordable fee structure, and follows the JNTUH curriculum. I also considered a few other private engineering colleges, but I preferred this college due to its better learning environment and convenient location. The admission process was simple and smooth. Students can get admission through the TS EAPCET counselling process or through the management quota. Eligibility is passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Most students prefer TS EAPCET for admission. The overall admission experience was easy, and the college staff guided us properly throughout the process.

Faculty

4

Faculty members are supportive and easy to approach. The student-faculty ratio is good. I liked most of the Mechanical faculty because they explain concepts clearly. The curriculum is relevant to JNTUH. There are 2 mid exams and 1 semester exam. Exams are of moderate difficulty, and students who study regularly usually pass.

Night Life

4

There is not much nightlife around the college, as the area is mostly calm and suitable for students. The college cafeteria and library remain open during college working hours and close in the evening. Hostels follow fixed in-time rules for student safety, and the campus is also closed after college hours except for authorized staff and hostel students. Students usually spend their free time in the cafeteria, nearby tea stalls, restaurants, and shopping areas with friends

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
