A Life of the SFIT Student

Course curriculum is good like it covers core engineering and provides strong foundation in programming , databases and software enginerring. clg follows Ise(internal semester examination) and ese (end semeter examination) which makes lot of student pass bcz ise gives 40 marks or 30marks alone itself.

From 7th semester we becomw eligible for placements. TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, and oracle. Avg package was offered 3 lakhs rs. Highest packages was 24 lakhs. 40% eligible students get placed. I plan to work as backend developer.

First year i paid was Rs.1,45,034, Second year i paid was Rs 1,42,387 and the third year i paid was Rs. 1,42,446. The fees vary according to the courses college offers. Fees Include Tution fee, Development fee, Examination fee, University fee , Sports fee, Gym fee, Student development fee, Convocation fee and E-Suvidha. College offers scholarship of MahaDBT students gets Tution fee and examination fee back depends on gender boy gets 50% and girls 100%.

Sfit has been enjoyable and balanced. annual cultural festival and technical festival every year btwn jan and march. In library good collection of books related to engineering is maintained. classromm are spacious and equipped with smart tvs. Clubs like CSI, IEEE, NSS and cultural committees.

It has good reputation and its near from my homes and it gives decent placements as well. Didnt got any rejection bcz SFIT was First Priority. Admission was smooth mainly in MHT CET scores and jee mains score. Cutoff varies every year.

The faculty members are knowledegeable , approachable and very friendly. Some facultys are egostic but some are very nice and kind in nature. Good ones are Dr. Mrinmoye Mukherjee, Balaraju Vijaya Lakshmi , Nidhi Chitalia, Akansha naik , Josna jose and Dr. Vaishali Jadhav. And bad ones r Pratibha Rane , Surekha mali and some male faculty.

Its calm bcz its surrounded by tress. Hangout places Dominos (99 ka meal). Gym , library and canteen are open during clg hours. No on campus hostels for most of the students. We usually spend times with friends and attending club activities.
