Remarks

The college is in it's developing stage till now. It requires good utilization of Government funds that it is getting. So many more years it requires to be counted as an all round developed college. Yet as a government college, it is more luring students. But on facilities and conditions, it is not suggested to join.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Syllabus is vast. It is semester wise system. Total consists of 8 semester approximately containing 68 subjects. It is as per the syllabus given by AICTE. The course is vast to have depth knowledge in each engineering branch.

Placement Experience

1

No, the college don't provide any internships. So there is no answer for stipend too. Also you have to arrange your own internship and training in your own way. The placements are rare through on-campus. Because only low profile BPOs come to college for recruitment. So have to go off-campus for finding job opportunities.

College Events

2

First, Exuberance is the annual techno-cultural fest of the college. It is generally organized in the month of March-April. Second, Arena is the annual sports fest organized in even semester. Third, Anniversary of Maharaja Krushna Gajapati, on the name of whom our college is named. A small event is organized and a blood donation camp is organized to help the needy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As a government funded institution, the fee is quite less as compared to private colleges who provide same course. Almost it charges half as compared to that of any private college. The college hostel have limited seats but also charges around 5K per month which is quite affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have availed a student loan for my 4 years of B.Tech. The college helped me a lot in that by providing every help and documents that they can give. Also there are provisions to get government and private scholarship. Medhabruti is a government scholarship given to meritorious students yearly 10,000. Prerana is a government scholarship only for SC/ST/SEBC students providing around 50K for SC,ST and 8K for SEBC. Other than these private scholarship are there like LIC golden jubilee scholarship, JK birla scholarship and so on.

Campus Life

2

There are much less provisions for extracurricular activities. Many clubs are there for these. But these are less popular. Utility block is a separate building for clubs and eateries. But according to number of clubs, the rooms are not enough. Labs are not supplied with enough instruments. They are no lab assistants in college. Faculties and students have to manage on their own. Most of instruments are old enough and damaged. Computer labs are most affected. The college campus is having a good playground. Most of the outdoor sports are played in there.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel atmosphere is quite good. We can't expect the hostels to be like hostels of IIT or NIT but these hostels are quite good. Spacious rooms. Generally three studenta are accomodated in each room. Each student is provided with one bed, one table, one chair and one cupboard. There are bathrooms in each corner. They are maintained as the students maintain them. The mess food is good and most important it is quite cheap as per the quantity it is given.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very helpful when we are in college. But after college there is no alumni meet. The college is very irresponsive in this matter. There is no alumni network. Many seniors are placed in good companies on their own. Many of them cleared GATE and are central and state government jobs. But due to inappropriate communication of college, they are not at all connected to college.

Admission

After completing 12th successfully we get eligible to attend JEE MAINS. After securing an All Indian rank in JEE MAINS, I got seat in PMEC by OJEE counselling. OJEE counseling is conducted by State board.

Faculty

2.5

Most of the faculties are young and have less experience. Almost all faculties completed only Masters and joined the college. The requirement of more faculties are mostly filled by guest faculties. As they are young, they have less experience in teaching. So it's good as well as bad.

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.
