    Linnaeus University Campus

    • Linnaeus University has two main campuses. They are located in the city of Växjö, and of Kalmar.
    • The campuses are renowned for their natural beauty. Växjö has the title of ‘the greenest city in Europe’, due to the amount of area covered by forests and lakes. Whereas, Kalmar is at the shore of the Baltic Sea and has a distinctive old city ambiance.
    • The library at the university is the first one to be LGBTQ certified in Sweden, highlighting the belief of the institution in the promotion of equal rights for everyone along with quality education.
    • Currently, there are over 70 student organizations that are active on the campus. These organizations are based on all the possible activities, such as dance, drama, sports, debate, philosophical, opera, etc.
    • The Student Union of the institution is the first official student body in Sweden to be LGBTQ certified. They ensure that there is equal representation from all the sections and also conduct sensitization workshops on various other important issues.
    • They also organize a number of enthralling events such as competitions, parties, concerts, and trips, for students.
    • There is also a special program devised for international students, known as ‘The Buddy Program’. The intention is to help foreign students get accustomed to the Swedish culture, and provide a comfortable environment in which they feel safe and secure.

    Linnaeus University Accommodation

    • The institution provides accommodation facilities to the fee-paying students. These offers are available at both campuses.
    • The housing is certain only for the first two semesters after which depending on the circumstances, you are guided on further steps to be taken by the student union.
    • To book your residence with absolute confidence an applicant is required to submit their housing application, and pay their tuition fees in full before 15th May.
    • The cost of the dorm room residential services is around 17,500 SEK - 32,500 SEK annually.

    • The University has two scholarship programs naming Linnaeus University Scholarship and Linnaeus University Scholarship for Current Student.
    • Students studying master's program are eligible for Linnaeus University Scholarship program. It can applied before the commencement of the program
    • Students already enrolled in 2-3 year programs are eligible for Linnaeus University Scholarship for Current Student. It can applied after the commencement of the program.
    • The scholarship to study in Sweden will be given on 75% of the tuition fees for one semester. Scholarship can be extended up to 4 semesters

    It is dynamic and new. It offered what I was exactly looking for. Managerial + technical education.

    Course Curriculum :

    It's good and appropriate. There are possibilities to add more technical but it may affect other student who don't have technical background.

    Following completing my upper secondary I was planning to study in Germany. But then I did not find any course of my interest. After that, I tried to explore the courses in my home country. Then I came across Linnaeus University. And one thing led to another.

    Course Curriculum :

    Currently, I am studying a number of topics such as operating systems and databases. However, its primary focus is on the network and security areas. The administration of networks, mobile, wireless security, and distributed systems is the focus of the course. And this will help me become an expert in the course.
