Students should also note that in light of COVID, tests that can be taken from home and online are also being accepted. Ques. When do I have to pay my deposit?
Ans. The institute understands that, with so much uncertainty at the moment, you may not currently be able to pay a deposit - particularly in some countries where there are issues in paying deposits when banks are closed. With that in mind, we have extended the deadline for paying deposits until 31 July 2020 for most courses. If your acceptance deadline is later than this date, the later date will apply to you.
Ques. I'm having trouble accessing English tests such as IELTS, what can I do?
Ans. The institute understands many of you are experiencing difficulties taking IELTS or other Secure English Language Tests (SELTs). We are now also able to accept the English tests listed below - some of these are available online. We may also require you to undertake an informal online interview with a member of Cranfield staff to validate your test score.
If you are unable to access any of the above tests, our Cranfield Online English Test is available to applicants already holding an offer for an MSc course starting this year. You will be required to attend the test at a specific time, which will then be administered by Cranfield staff. Candidates should allow 3 hours 30 minutes for the test, which will include a break. On receipt of your test result, our team will then advise whether you will be required to attend our Pre-sessional English for Academic Purposes course and/or attend an interview. Please complete this webform to register.
Ques. When is my registration date?
Ans. Registration is an important step in becoming a Cranfield University student. The institute has published the dates that each course will register on our arrivals and registration pages:
If you are studying on the Cranfield campus, your registration date will fall during Welcome Week, which is being held from 28 September to 2 October. Please click the link above for your actual date.
