Visa Process for International Students

Non-EEA applicants require a visa to study at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. If the candidate is coming to study a full-time program as an undergraduate, postgraduate or research student, he/she is required to apply for a Tier 4 (General) visa.

College offers a five-year Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) degree at the undergraduate level.

    • International Baccalaureate: 36 points with Biology and Chemistry at minimum grade 6 at a Higher level

Relevant global health experience (recommended)

Registration for the BMAT opens from early September 2018. Candidates are screened and called for interview by the college administration. Multiple Mini Interviews are held during BSMS admission days. Candidates, then, receive an offer letter of rejection or selection for MMIs. Qualification results are confirmed in August.
