Applicants must note that the university does not have any fixed deadline for UG and PG admissions. Applications are accepted throughout the year. However, international applicants are advised to apply at least 8 weeks prior to the beginning of the course.

    • Minimum cumulative score of 65% in grade 12

University of Stirling offers various postgraduate courses in fields like accounting, marketing, Business and management, etc. The admission process for all programs is mainly the same for every applicant. However, the university requires applicants to meet the country-specific admission requirements.

Admission Requirements: The admission requirements of a few countries are given below:

  • Requirements for Students from India:
    • graduating with 50% from Tier 1 College/ University, (namely the University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi)
    • graduating with 55% from a Tier 2 College/University.
  • Requirements for Students from Japan:
    • Minimum of grade B or 65% in Bachelor’s degree
  • Requirements for Students from Pakistan:
    • 4-year bachelors degree with a GPA of 2.6/4.0 or 60% or,
    • 3-year bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 75%
  • Requirements for Students from China:
    • Graduating with at least 65% in a 4-year Bachelor's degree from a 211/985 university.
    • Graduating with at least 70% in a 4-year Bachelor's degree from other universities.

Visa Process for International Students

International students must have the Tier 4 visa clearance for almost six months while applying for the courses. For Tier 4, aspirants must have 40 points:

  • 30 points - A valid Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a Tier 4 sponsor
  • 10 points - Enough money for college tuition, application fee, and living costs.

Students must note that applying for visa costs around 348 Pounds. Also, since the whole process takes at least 3 months, they should begin are advised to apply accordingly.

Students are required to provide the following documents when applying for the visa:

  • Passport and travel documentation
  • Financial support proof
  • A tuberculosis test result.
  • Acceptance letter
