University of Bath International Management MSc is a one-year, full-time postgraduate degree in Bath, England, starting in September 2027. Indian applicants need a First Class bachelor’s degree with significant business or management content, and must upload their institution’s grading scale with the transcript. September 2027 tuition is unpublished; September 2026/27 Overseas tuition was £31,700 (INR 40.63 Lakhs), as a prior-cycle reference.

Bath trains students to evaluate cross-border investment, international strategy and management across cultures in multinational companies. Its distinctive structure combines core global-business units, 20 credits of second-semester options and a 30-credit summer choice between a dissertation, practice track or internship. That design suits a business graduate seeking applied international roles, but the internship is competitive and not guaranteed.

  • The course includes seminar presentations, case studies, group projects and interactive lectures, followed by coursework and written examinations.
  • A 2024-25 class included students from 10 nationalities, giving applicants an international classroom context.
  • Bath reports that 74% of its 2022 and 2023 graduates had accepted a job within three months, without publishing salary data.

Current Admission Status

Applications for the September 2027 intake are Not Yet Open. International student deadline: 30 June 2026 (prior-cycle planning reference; September 2027 deadline unpublished).

Bath’s current course page confirms the September 2026 route, but its Overseas deadline has passed, while the university timeline mentions September 2027 as a future entry reference. Indian applicants should prepare documents but wait for the 2027 Overseas route and deadline before arranging a visa.

Bath International Management Fees and Living Costs 2027

September 2027 tuition is unpublished after checking Bath’s live course page and the School of Management 2026/27 fee table. The official table lists £31,700 (INR 40.63 Lakhs) for Overseas International Management students entering in 2026/27, so it is prior-cycle context only. The target page must be checked again before an Indian applicant commits funds because Bath says fees may increase annually.

Bath’s current course page requires an offer-holder to pay a £1,500 deposit (INR 1.92 Lakhs) to secure the place. The university also asks students to budget at least £100 (INR 12,816) for scanning and photocopying, while optional off-campus activity costs may be extra. Bath deducts the deposit from tuition when the student registers, so it affects early cash flow but is not a second tuition charge.

Prior-cycle reference: the table contains the September 2026/27 Overseas fee and current course cost items checked for planning, not confirmed September 2027 charges.

  • Exclude the £31,700 (INR 40.63 Lakhs) prior-cycle amount from a final 2027 funding commitment until Bath publishes the target Overseas fee.
  • Keep the £1,500 (INR 1.92 Lakhs) deposit available at offer acceptance because Bath may withdraw an offer when the payment deadline is missed.
  • Reserve a separate amount for books and optional activities because Bath publishes only a minimum scanning and photocopying budget.

Cost of Living in Bath for International Management Students

Bath estimates approximately £1,600 per month (INR 2.05 Lakhs) for international student living costs. The university says Bath costs tend to be higher than other parts of the country, and the estimate is combined rather than rent-only.

The annual amount below is calculated from Bath’s monthly estimate because the university publishes the figure monthly. It is a planning conversion rather than a separate annual quotation.

ExpenseMonthly GBPMonthly INRAnnual GBPAnnual INR
University combined living-cost estimate£1,600INR 2.05 Lakhs£19,200 calculatedINR 24.61 Lakhs calculated

A prior-cycle planning illustration uses £31,700 (INR 40.63 Lakhs) plus 12 months of £1,600 (INR 2.05 Lakhs) living costs. The calculated total is £50,900 (INR 65.23 Lakhs), excluding visa charges, health surcharge, flights, books and optional activity costs.

Fee planning note

Verify the target fee on the official fee page before fixing a loan amount, because the 2026/27 figure is only a prior-cycle reference for September 2027.

Read More: UK student accommodation and living costs

ROI reality: Bath’s prior-cycle tuition plus one year of the university living estimate reaches £50,900 (INR 65.23 Lakhs). It is not a target-cycle total, so wait for the 2027 Overseas fee.

Bath International Management Admission 2027

Bath’s current course page requires Indian applicants to hold a bachelor’s degree with a final overall result of at least First Class. It also requires a significant level of business or management content, so a high grade alone does not resolve subject fit.

The September 2027 academic threshold is unpublished, so the current 2026 course requirement below is a planning reference. Bath asks applicants to upload their institution’s grading scale with the transcript, which matters because Indian grading systems vary.

Current published eligibility reference: the table separates Bath’s Indian academic threshold from subject preparation, work experience and standardised-test evidence.

Admission measureBath requirement on the current course pageIndian applicant action
Indian bachelor’s degreeFinal overall result of at least First ClassUpload the transcript and the grading scale used by the institution
Academic subjectAny discipline with a significant level of business or management contentHighlight relevant units, projects or work that demonstrate management preparation
Work experienceIn exceptional cases, relevant work experience may substitute for the degree requirement, with no more than three years’ relevant experienceUse this route only when the experience directly addresses the missing degree evidence
Standardised business testsGMAT and GRE are not listed on the current course pagePrioritise the academic file and English evidence instead of adding an unlisted test

The course is not a broad conversion route for applicants without business exposure because Bath requires significant business or management content. Its summer choice creates a clear tradeoff: a dissertation suits research, a practice track adds a client project and an internship offers workplace experience but is competitive.

GMAT means Graduate Management Admission Test, while GRE means Graduate Record Examinations. Bath’s current page does not list either test, so Indian applicants should not spend time or money on one unless a later target-cycle instruction adds it.

English Language Requirements

Bath currently requires the International English Language Test System (IELTS) at 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in reading, writing, listening and speaking. The results must be no more than two years old from the start date of the MSc course.

The current page says, “We also accept other language tests, including PTE Academic, TOEFL iBT, CPE and CAE.”

The page names Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) and Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-based test (TOEFL iBT). It does not publish target scores for either test.

Because the current page does not state a TOEFL scale or score after 21 January 2026, Indian applicants should verify the target-cycle policy before submitting a revised-scale result. Bath also says five-week or ten-week pre-sessional routes may be available for some IELTS profiles. The listed profiles include IELTS 6.0 or 5.5, with minimum 5.5 in each component.

English test or routeCurrent Bath positionIndian applicant action
IELTS6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in every componentKeep each component at or above 6.0 and check the two-year validity window
PTE AcademicAccepted as an alternative, but the score is not shown on the current course pageObtain the target-cycle score from Bath before booking or submitting the result
TOEFL iBTAccepted as an alternative, but the score and scale are not shown on the current course pageVerify the accepted post-21 January 2026 scale and component rules
Pre-sessional EnglishAn IELTS 6.0 or 5.5 may support a five-week or ten-week combined offer when component rules are metAsk Bath whether the route remains available for the target entry

Bath may exempt applicants who completed all undergraduate studies in the UK or a country where English is the official first language. The current course page does not publish an India-specific school-English waiver, so Indian applicants should not assume that an English-medium degree removes the test requirement.

  • Upload the institution grading scale with the transcript because Bath makes the Indian threshold sensitive to different grading systems.
  • Keep the IELTS component scores above 6.0 because the overall band cannot repair a lower required component.
  • Confirm the target-cycle PTE or TOEFL score before booking an alternative test because Bath’s current course page gives acceptance without the exact score.
Tip for Indian students: The published First Class threshold is only the academic floor, because the course also expects meaningful business or management content. Use the grading-scale upload and English-test verification to remove avoidable application risk.

Bath International Management Application 2027

September 2027 applications are not yet open on Bath’s official course surface, and no target-cycle Overseas deadline or decision date is published. The live page shows one September entry for this full-time MSc, so there is no verified January or Summer intake to add.

Bath’s current 2026 course page lists 30 June 2026 as the Overseas application deadline. That date is a prior-cycle reference, and the course-specific page takes precedence over Bath’s wider timeline, which lists 31 July 2026 for most courses.

Bath’s current application guidance says complete applications should receive a decision within six weeks and that offer-holders should accept within four weeks. These are process signals from the current cycle, not confirmed September 2027 dates.

Application Tracker lets applicants upload qualifications or visa documents, accept an offer and apply for a scholarship. Prepare the grading scale, transcript and English evidence before the target route opens because Bath may close a course early when it becomes full.

  • Prepare the transcript, grading scale and English evidence before the 2027 Overseas route appears because Bath may close applications before a published deadline.
  • Submit only after Bath confirms the September 2027 Overseas route because the current 2026 deadline has passed.
  • Record the six-week decision guidance as a planning estimate rather than a guaranteed 2027 response time.
  • Accept an offer within four weeks and keep the £1,500 (INR 1.92 Lakhs) deposit available when the target instructions are issued.

Timing recommendation: use the 2026 cycle’s 30 June Overseas deadline and early-closure warning to prepare well before summer. Bath does not publish a cutoff time or timezone on the current course page, so follow the portal’s stated closing time when the 2027 application opens.

Student perspective

One 2021 student review described the diverse modules and practice track as a reason for choosing Bath. A 2024 enrolled-student review praised experienced professors, real-world application knowledge and career advice. It also noted the distance from London, so Indian applicants should compare client-project learning with their preferred location.

These comments are anecdotal and do not replace official University of Bath data.

Application tip: There is no verified September 2027 Overseas deadline for this MSc. Build the academic and English file now, then apply only when Bath confirms the route and portal cutoff.

Bath International Management Scholarships 2027

Bath has not published September 2027 scholarship terms for this MSc. The School of Management page confirms awards for international full-time master’s applicants in earlier cycles, but its published deadlines and quantities do not carry forward automatically.

The table keeps the most relevant current and prior-cycle awards separate from the target intake. Each award is a tuition-fee waiver, not cash, and none should be subtracted from the unpublished 2027 fee.

Prior-cycle scholarship references: the listed amounts and deadlines are official Bath figures for September 2026 or current cycleless guidance, provided only to shape a funding plan.

AwardPublished valueINR equivalentEligibility and cycle status
Master’s Worldwide Scholarship£5,000 fee waiverINR 6.41 LakhsInternational offer-holders on eligible full-time campus courses; up to 15 for September 2026

Discretionary ScholarshipUp to £5,000 fee waiverUp to INR 6.41 LakhsCurrent published cycleless guidance for exceptional full-time School of Management applications

The September 2026 School of Management deadlines were 4 February 2026 and 8 April 2026, with decisions scheduled for 27 February and 8 May. Bath requires an eligible offer before scholarship application, so the 2027 award window should be checked after the course route opens.

Bath says selection considers the scholarship statement and contextual information from the study application. Awards are limited and discretionary, while the University may invite applicants for an interview when the waiver exceeds £5,000 (INR 6.41 Lakhs).

  • Do not subtract the prior-cycle £10,000 (INR 12.82 Lakhs) awards from a 2027 budget until Bath reconfirms the course, amount and deadline.
  • Apply through Application Tracker only after receiving an eligible offer because Bath makes the offer a condition of scholarship consideration.
  • Prepare evidence of academic achievement and individual impact because the largest current awards assess more than the transcript alone.
  • Keep a funding reserve because Bath states that awards are limited, discretionary and not guaranteed.

Funding note

Bath’s 2027 scholarship rules are not published for this MSc. Use the prior-cycle awards to estimate possible relief, then verify the target amount, eligibility and deadline before treating any waiver as available funding.

Check Out: University of Bath scholarship options

Scholarship reality: Bath has previously offered £5,000 and £10,000 School of Management waivers (INR 6.41 Lakhs and INR 12.82 Lakhs). Indian applicants should secure an eligible 2027 offer and confirm the new terms before reducing their budget.

Bath International Management Salary 2027

Bath publishes a course-cohort employment outcome but no salary figure. Its career page says 74% of the 2022 and 2023 graduates had accepted a job within three months of completing the degree.

The measure covers graduates whose destinations were known and those seeking employment on completing the degree. It is an accepted-job measure, not a salary, guarantee or host-country placement rate.

Evidence scope: the table separates the course outcome from the reported role functions of the 2021-22 and 2022-23 graduates.

Source: University of Bath MSc in International Management career data for the 2021-22, 2022-23, 2022 and 2023 graduate cohorts.

Finance and sales are the largest reported role functions, while marketing, consulting and general management each account for 12%. The spread shows varied early-career destinations rather than one defined job channel.

Bath names organisations where recent graduates went on to work in its course career data, including Amazon, Apple, Deloitte, Estée Lauder, JP Morgan, Kantar and Standard Chartered Bank. These names prove reported destinations only, not recruiters, sponsorships or typical outcomes.

Bath does not publish a course salary, median pay or named external market benchmark on the checked course and career pages. Take-home pay will vary with tax, contract type and location, so use a current UK tax calculator after receiving an actual offer.

Return on investment (ROI) asks whether the course cost is supportable against the career evidence and work window. A prior-cycle planning illustration is £50,900 (INR 65.23 Lakhs), combining £31,700 (INR 40.63 Lakhs) tuition with £19,200 (INR 24.61 Lakhs) living costs.

  • The £50,900 (INR 65.23 Lakhs) illustration uses prior-cycle tuition, so replace it with the 2027 Overseas fee before approving borrowing.
  • The 74% accepted-job result is a course-cohort outcome, so use it as evidence of access while avoiding a repayment forecast.
  • The 24% finance and 22% sales shares show the two largest reported role functions, so align your CV and optional units with a specific target role.
  • The summer internship is optional and not guaranteed, so exclude unpaid or unavailable internship income from the funding plan.
  • The 18-month Graduate Route can support a post-study search, so compare the UK work window with the roles you could pursue after returning to India.

Bath’s academic proposition is strongest for applicants who want international management breadth with a practical summer choice, not a guaranteed occupation or salary. The financial tradeoff is material because the target tuition and course salary are unpublished, so test the decision against a funded offer and a specific role plan.

ROI reality: Bath reports 74% of its 2022 and 2023 graduates accepted a job within three months, but it publishes no course salary. Use the £50,900 prior-cycle illustration (INR 65.23 Lakhs) only to stress-test the 2027 funding decision.

UK Visa for Bath International Management Students 2027

An Indian applicant offered a place on the September 2027 Overseas route would normally need a UK Student visa for this one-year full-time MSc. Current rules charge £558 (INR 71,513), and students pay the Immigration Health Surcharge of £776 per year (INR 99,452). Bath’s £1,600 monthly estimate (INR 2.05 Lakhs) remains separate from visa maintenance. Check the official UK Student visa rules after Bath publishes the target route because the 2027 course page and Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies dates are not yet available.

  • Outside-London maintenance is £1,171 monthly (INR 1.50 Lakhs) for nine months, capped at £10,539 (INR 13.51 Lakhs), separate from Bath’s estimate.
  • The Graduate Route allows 18 months for applications made on or after 1 January 2027, but it is a work-search window rather than a job guarantee.
  • Skilled Worker entry needs an eligible job, approved employer and the higher of £41,700 (INR 53.44 Lakhs) or the going rate, with five-year settlement rules separate.
  • Taught master’s students generally cannot bring dependants under current rules unless a government-sponsored or qualifying research or doctoral exception applies.

Visa timing matters because the course-specific 2027 application route is not open and the visa process depends on a future offer and Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies. Keep the visa fee, health surcharge and maintenance funds outside the Bath tuition and living-cost budget so the funding evidence is not understated.

Check Out: UK Student visa requirements

Visa reality: The Graduate Route lasts 18 months for 2027 applicants, but the £41,700 Skilled Worker threshold (INR 53.44 Lakhs) makes a target role central to funding.

Bath International Management Ranking 2027

The official International Management MSc page reports a top 100 worldwide position and top 20 UK position for MSc in Management in the QS Business Masters Rankings 2026.

It reports the same top 100 worldwide and top 20 UK scope for the Financial Times Masters in Management 2025. These are category-level positions reported by the course page, not an exact rank or a placement guarantee.

Ranking scope matters because the published labels refer to MSc in Management categories, while the course is International Management MSc. Use the bands as context for academic visibility and verify the latest edition before treating them as a current application factor.

Key insight: Bath reports top 100 worldwide and top 20 UK bands in two named business-master rankings, but the published page gives no exact position. Treat the bands as context and give greater weight to the course structure and verified employment evidence.

University of Bath International Management suits an Indian graduate with a First Class result and significant business or management content who wants a one-year global management degree. Its core international business units, summer choice of dissertation, practice track or internship and documented role outcomes create a practical proposition for cross-border careers. The material tradeoff is financial uncertainty because September 2027 tuition, deadline and scholarship terms remain unpublished, while the internship is not guaranteed. Prepare the grading scale, English evidence and funding reserve now, then verify Bath’s 2027 Overseas route and fee before applying.

University of Bath International Management FAQs

Ques. Is Bath International Management suitable for an Indian applicant with a non-business bachelor’s degree?

Ans. Bath accepts applicants from any discipline, but the course page requires a First Class bachelor’s degree with significant business or management content. A non-business applicant should use the transcript to show that content rather than relying on the degree title alone.

Ques. What summer options does the Bath International Management MSc offer?

Ans. The summer stage offers a dissertation, a practice track or a summer internship. The internship is competitive and not guaranteed, so applicants should exclude it from the base funding plan and choose the option that matches their evidence-building need.

Ques. What total cost should an Indian applicant plan for September 2027?

Ans. September 2027 tuition is unpublished. The September 2026/27 Overseas fee was £31,700 (INR 40.63 Lakhs), and Bath’s annual living estimate was £19,200 (INR 24.61 Lakhs). The resulting prior-cycle planning illustration was £50,900 (INR 65.23 Lakhs).

Ques. When can an Indian applicant apply for Bath International Management September 2027?

Ans. The September 2027 route is not yet open and its international deadline is unpublished. Bath’s 30 June 2026 Overseas deadline is a prior-cycle planning reference, so prepare the grading scale and English evidence but wait for the new route before submitting.

Ques. Does Bath’s 74% employment outcome guarantee a UK job or a two-year Graduate Route?

Ans. The 74% figure is a course-cohort accepted-job outcome for 2022 and 2023 graduates, not a salary or job guarantee. The Graduate Route is 18 months for applications made on or after 1 January 2027, so visa planning still depends on securing a qualifying post-study route.

The ranking of the university, the reviews from previous students, and the career prospects made me choose this university and the particular program. The overall experience of my study time at the University of Bath was top notch. Ever since the first day, my professors laid down a clear path of study and how the curriculum would progress. There were several social events to make friends at, which made it easy to make friends. The university hosted frequent career events to interact with recruiters, build connections and get to know more about the jobs. The university allowed us to choose the subjects and modules we wanted based on our interests and we were well informed about each module.  We also had the option to choose a practice track to gain real world knowledge by working with companies.
