Swansea University fees for Indian students in 2026/27 range from £18,250 (INR 23.21 Lakhs) a year for LLB Law to £24,500 (INR 31.16 Lakhs) for MSc Civil Engineering, with the most Indian-applied postgraduate courses, MSc Data Science, MSc Computer Science and MSc Management (Business Analytics), priced between £23,450 and £24,200 (INR 29.82 to 30.78 Lakhs) a year. Most Indian applicants land on the one-year MSc route; a smaller share pursue the three-year BSc where the UK Graduate Route (the two-year post-study work permission that follows a UK degree) makes the maths work.

Your realistic entry to Swansea University is January 2027 for the few postgraduate courses that offer it, most notably MSc Management (Business Analytics), or September 2027 for the full range. The September 2026 intake is not a live option as the UK Student Visa (the visa required for a UK degree) takes 3 to 8 weeks after CAS issue, and a fresh application from India cannot clear that window in time.

  • Undergraduate international fees: £18,250 to £21,550 (INR 23.21 to 27.41 Lakhs) a year
  • Postgraduate taught international fees: £21,150 to £24,500 (INR 26.90 to 31.16 Lakhs) a year
  • Standard offer deposit: £4,000 (INR 5.09 Lakhs), higher for four Indian states, see the payment section
  • Thrive Bursary (India automatic): £4,000 (INR 5.09 Lakhs) fee reduction
  • International Excellence Scholarship: up to £5,000 (INR 6.36 Lakhs) first year

A one-year MSc at Swansea works out to a Year 1 all-in of roughly INR 48 to 52 Lakhs after the Thrive Bursary is applied, and a three-year BSc lands near INR 1.25 Crore in total including tuition, halls and mandatory UK visa costs.

January 2027 and September 2027 Intakes: Swansea Fees Planning Snapshot

  • Intake: January 2027 is open for a short PG list (MSc Management (Business Analytics), BSc Business Management pathways) and closes for offer processing by early November 2026. September 2027 is the main intake across all UG and PG, applications open through summer 2026 and roll forward to late spring 2027.
  • Fee update: 2026/27 international rates apply to January 2027 entry (£21,150 to £24,500, INR 26.90 to 31.16 Lakhs). September 2027 entrants price on the 2027/28 rate that publishes on the course page later in 2026, expect roughly INR 90,000 to 1.10 Lakhs higher a year per Swansea’s published 3% escalation for continuing students.
  • When to pay: Standard £4,000 (INR 5.09 Lakhs) deposit secures the CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies, the document needed for the Student Visa).

Deep-dive on entry requirements, deadlines and CAS timing lives in the Swansea University Admissions guide.

Swansea University Tuition Fees by Programme for Indian Students

Swansea prices international tuition per course, not by faculty band. Fees below reflect the 2026/27 international rate published on each course page, which applies to January 2027 entrants and returning September 2026 entrants. Fees for September 2027 entrants publish on individual course pages later in 2026.

Undergraduate Fees: September 2026 and September 2027 Entry

Standard UG duration is three years for the BSc/LLB and four years for BEng/MEng or with a foundation year. Indian students most commonly apply to Computer Science, Business Management and Law.

Programme Annual Fee (GBP) Annual Fee (INR) Intake
BSc (Hons) Computer Science £21,550 INR 27.41 Lakhs Sept 2026 / 2027
BSc (Hons) Business Management (Human Resources) £20,600 INR 26.20 Lakhs Sept 2026 or Jan 2027
LLB (Hons) Law £18,250 INR 23.21 Lakhs Sept 2026 / 2027

Postgraduate Taught Fees: January 2027 and September 2027 Entry

The one-year full-time MSc is the standard PG route for Indian students. Only a handful of PG courses offer a January intake, most run September only.

Programme Annual Fee (GBP) Annual Fee (INR) Intake
MSc Data Science £24,200 INR 30.78 Lakhs Sept 2026 / 2027
MSc Computer Science £23,450 INR 29.82 Lakhs Sept 2026 / 2027
MSc Management (Business Analytics) £23,900 INR 30.40 Lakhs Sept 2026 or Jan 2027
LLM International Commercial Law £21,150 INR 26.90 Lakhs Sept 2026 / 2027
MSc Civil Engineering £24,500 INR 31.16 Lakhs Sept 2026 / 2027

Note: The published international fee is the full course cost for the one-year MSc, not a per-semester figure. If you enter January 2027, the entire 2026/27 rate stays locked for you even though your course crosses into the 2027/28 fee year, because the fee year attaches to the intake, not the calendar year.

Swansea University Fee Escalation and Multi-Year Cost for Indian Students

Swansea publishes only the current fee year on each course page, so a long back-catalogue trend is not on record. What the university does publish is a fixed policy: an annual 3% increase for students continuing into their second or third year of the same course.

Year of Study Escalation BSc Computer Science (GBP) BSc Computer Science (INR)
Year 1 (2026/27) Base rate £21,550 INR 27.41 Lakhs
Year 2 (2027/28) +3% £22,197 INR 28.23 Lakhs
Year 3 (2028/29) +3% £22,862 INR 29.08 Lakhs
3-Year Total - £66,609 INR 84.72 Lakhs

Key Insight: January 2027 PG entrants lock the 2026/27 rate. September 2027 entrants will price on Swansea’s fresh 2027/28 rate card, which for an MSc will land near INR 31.65 to 32.10 Lakhs for the equivalent of MSc Data Science, roughly INR 90,000 higher than today’s £24,200 in INR terms. If your programme and profile are ready, the January 2027 intake is the cheaper year to enter.

Cost of Living in Swansea for Indian Students

Swansea is one of the more affordable UK university cities. Swansea University’s own cost-of-living page anchors a single-person monthly spend outside rent at £754.10 (INR 95,908), and its published rent range for university halls at Bay Campus and Singleton runs £130 to £258 a week (INR 16,533 to 32,812).

Expense Monthly (GBP) Monthly (INR) Annual (INR) Notes for Indian Students

Note: The UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration) maintenance minimum for a student outside London is £1,171 a month for up to 9 months, £10,539 (INR 13.40 Lakhs) in your visa bank account. This is a visa-file requirement, not your actual monthly spend, but you must show it to get the CAS-to-visa stamp through.

Swansea’s living cost sits roughly 15% below Manchester and 25% below inner-London universities, which is why the total programme cost for an MSc here undercuts a comparable London MSc by INR 6 to 9 Lakhs a year.

Currency Tip: Your first instalment (50% of tuition + halls deposit) falls due at enrolment for both the January 2027 and September 2027 intakes. Pay the £4,000 (INR 5.09 Lakhs) deposit and Year 1 tuition through Convera GlobalPay (Swansea’s official international payment provider) rather than a plain wire transfer, the exchange spread is 1.5 to 2.5% tighter than most Indian retail bank remittances.

Total Cost of Studying at Swansea University for Indian Students

Year 1 all-in for the most Indian-applied Swansea courses, after applying the automatic Thrive Bursary of £4,000 for Indian PG entrants.

Scenario Tuition Living Visa + IHS (Year 1) Total Year 1 (Net of Bursary)
MSc Data Science (12 mo) INR 30.78 Lakhs INR 19.66 Lakhs INR 2.68 Lakhs INR 48.03 Lakhs
MSc Computer Science (12 mo) INR 29.82 Lakhs INR 19.66 Lakhs INR 2.68 Lakhs INR 47.07 Lakhs
MSc Mgmt (Business Analytics) (12 mo) INR 30.40 Lakhs INR 19.66 Lakhs INR 2.68 Lakhs INR 47.65 Lakhs
LLM International Commercial Law (12 mo) INR 26.90 Lakhs INR 19.66 Lakhs INR 2.68 Lakhs INR 44.15 Lakhs
BSc Computer Science (Year 1, 10 mo) INR 27.41 Lakhs INR 16.38 Lakhs INR 4.65 Lakhs INR 43.35 Lakhs
  • Living: 12-month halls basis for PG, 10-month basis for UG (Indian students typically return home in summer).
  • Visa: £558
  • IHS: £776/year, charged upfront for full visa duration (2 × £776 = £1,552 for a 12-month MSc visa; 4 × £776 = £3,104 for a 3-year BSc).
  • Thrive Bursary of £4,000 (INR 5.09 Lakhs) deducted from PG totals.

Three-year BSc Computer Science all-in, including the +3% annual escalation on tuition, 3 years of halls-basis living and full IHS paid upfront, comes to approximately INR 1.26 Crore. On an education loan of INR 40 Lakhs at 10.5% for 10 years, the EMI is roughly INR 54,000 a month after graduation.

Key Insight: An Indian PG student who enters January 2027 with the automatic Thrive Bursary and an International Excellence Scholarship of £3,000 (INR 3.82 Lakhs) can bring Year 1 tuition down by INR 8.91 Lakhs from list price. Apply for the International Excellence Scholarship the moment the September 2027 cycle opens, decisions are made in tuition-fee-year order and the pot is fixed.

Swansea University Scholarships for Indian Students

Swansea runs two automatic bursaries an Indian student can stack in Year 1, plus one competitive scholarship. Every award below is a tuition fee reduction, not a cash disbursement.

External Indian and UK Government Scholarships for Swansea

Tip for Indian Students: If you are targeting September 2027, put Chevening and Commonwealth at the top of the queue, both close before Diwali 2026 and are the only paths to fully-funded Swansea. If you miss those, Inlaks in early 2027 is the strongest fallback for a Master’s abroad. Deep-dive on eligibility, essays and reference-letter timing lives in the Swansea University Scholarships silo.

Swansea University Tuition Deposit and Payment Options for Indian Students

The £4,000 (INR 5.09 Lakhs) tuition deposit is what converts your offer into a CAS letter. Swansea treats the deposit as the first slice of tuition, not an add-on: it is refundable only on a visa refusal (with a valid rejection letter) and is netted off your Year 1 fee once you enrol.

Deposit rules for Indian applicants:

  • Standard: £4,000 (INR 5.09 Lakhs)
  • Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Telangana domicile: £8,000 (INR 10.17 Lakhs)
  • Haryana, Punjab domicile: Full first-year tuition upfront (INR 23 to 31 Lakhs depending on course)

Methods of Payment

  • Convera GlobalPay: Swansea’s official international payment platform; accepts INR bank transfers, cards and eWallets; typically saves 1.5 to 2.5% versus a raw wire
  • Bank / telegraphic transfer via SBI, HDFC, ICICI or Axis
  • Credit or debit card via the Swansea University intranet portal (24/7)
  • Education loan disbursement direct to Swansea (state your CAS number to the lender)

Steps to Pay the Tuition Fee for International Students

  1. Accept your Swansea offer through the applicant portal
  2. Pay the £4,000 (or state-specific higher) deposit via Convera GlobalPay
  3. Receive the CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) from admissions
  4. Apply for the UK Student Visa, paying £558 (INR 70,966) and IHS upfront
  5. Pay the balance in the university’s fixed 50-25-25 schedule after arrival
  6. Retain every payment receipt and Convera reference for your visa file and income-tax return

Instalment plan (all self-funded international students):

  • 50% at enrolment, mandatory to complete registration (net of deposit already paid)
  • 25% by early February of the academic year
  • 25% by 1 May of the academic year

Tip for Indian Students: For January 2027 entry, pay the deposit by end of October 2026 to leave 6 to 8 weeks for CAS issue and Student Visa processing. Indian bank wires clear in 3 to 5 working days, so add that buffer, a delayed CAS costs an intake, not a week.

Hidden Costs of Studying at Swansea University for Indian Students

Line items families routinely underestimate when they budget for Year 1. All figures assume the January 2027 or September 2027 intake.

  • Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS): £776 per year of visa, paid upfront in full at visa application. MSc = £1,552 (INR 1.97 Lakhs); 3-year BSc = £3,104 (INR 3.95 Lakhs)
  • UK Student Visa fee: £558 (INR 70,966), one-off
  • Qualification Check portal (Haryana and Punjab domicile only): £30 fee plus institution surcharge (INR 3,815 + institutional charge)
  • IELTS or SWELT test: INR 17,000 first attempt, INR 17,000 retake if score falls short
  • Air ticket Mumbai/Delhi to London (one-way): INR 55,000 to 75,000 in peak intake month
  • Warm winter clothes and shoes: INR 25,000 to 40,000 on arrival
  • Setup week (bedding, kitchen basics, SIM, bike): INR 30,000 to 45,000
  • Bank forex spread on tuition wires: 1.5 to 3% of total, so INR 45,000 to 90,000 on a £24,200 fee

Budget approximately INR 3.5 to 5 Lakhs for first-year hidden costs beyond the tuition + halls + visa fee headline.

Note: The IHS is the hidden cost families most often forget. It is charged upfront on visa submission for the entire visa duration, so a 3-year BSc student pays £3,104 (INR 3.95 Lakhs) at the visa counter, not spread across three annual payments. Keep that cash liquid ahead of your visa slot.

Fee Saving Strategies at Swansea University for Indian Students

The single largest lever this intake cycle is applying for the Chevening scholarship (opens 4 August 2026) if your work profile fits: two-year post-Bachelor’s work experience and demonstrated leadership. It converts a INR 48 Lakhs MSc into a fully funded year.

  • Stack the Thrive Bursary automatically: Indian PG students save £4,000 (INR 5.09 Lakhs) Year 1 with no application
  • Live in university halls Year 1: Utilities bundled saves £1,500 to £2,000 (INR 1.90 to 2.54 Lakhs) versus private lets that spring council tax, water and gas bills on you separately
  • Part-time work at 20 hours a week: National Living Wage of £12.21/hour × 20 × 40 weeks earns roughly £9,768 (INR 12.42 Lakhs) a year, offsets living costs almost fully
  • Section 80E tax deduction: Full interest paid on an Indian education loan is deductible for 8 years post-course, a INR 40 Lakhs loan at 10.5% carries INR 4 Lakhs+ deductible interest a year
  • UK Graduate Route Visa: 2 years of post-study work rights after a UK Master’s (3 years after a PhD); a Swansea MSc graduate earning £30,000 to £35,000 (INR 38 to 45 Lakhs) a year for 2 years covers the fee outlay

Tip for Indian Students: If you are eligible for Chevening or Commonwealth, that is the highest-value lever this cycle, worth INR 30 to 40 Lakhs in avoided tuition and living cost, and both close before mid-November 2026 for September 2027 entry. Everything else in this list is a INR 2 to 15 Lakhs saving; the fully-funded routes are decision-changing.

Is Swansea University Worth the Cost for Indian Students?

An MSc at Swansea for an Indian student runs a total programme cost of INR 47 to 52 Lakhs including the Thrive Bursary; Swansea offsets this with a graduate employment rate of 94% and a QS World University Ranking of #322 for 2027 (up from 425 in 2023), placing it in the UK top 35.

Rankings recap for the Sept 2027 entry decision:

  • QS World 2027: #322 (UK #34)
  • THE World 2026: 301-350 (UK #29)
  • US News Best Global 2026-27: #394 (UK #33)
  • Complete University Guide UK 2027: #41
  • THE Impact 2025 Overall: #36 globally, #5 in the UK for sustainability

The UK Graduate Route currently in force gives Master’s graduates 2 years of open work rights after course completion (3 years for PhDs). A Swansea MSc graduate starting on £30,000 to £35,000 (INR 38 to 45 Lakhs) a year in a UK tech, analytics or engineering role clears roughly INR 20 to 24 Lakhs post-tax, comfortably covering the ~INR 54,000/month EMI on a INR 40 Lakhs education loan.

Where Swansea genuinely competes is engineering-adjacent Master’s (Materials Science subject rank #145 globally, Computer Science 251-300 THE 2026, Engineering 251-300 THE 2026) and the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law’s LLM, which is cheaper than every Russell Group law LLM by INR 8 to 15 Lakhs a year. Full Swansea University ranking breakdown gives the subject-by-subject picture.

Key Insight:

  • A Swansea MSc net of Thrive costs INR 48 Lakhs in Year 1.
  • The 2-year Graduate Route lets you earn back INR 40 to 48 Lakhs post-tax at typical starting salaries.
  • Payback horizon: 4 to 5 years, one of the shortest in the QS top 350 UK bracket, and the reason the January 2027 and September 2027 intakes are still a strong-return decision.

January 2027 entry costs INR 44 to 52 Lakhs for a PG all-in Year 1 net of the Thrive Bursary, September 2027 will price roughly INR 1 Lakh higher on tuition and INR 3 to 4 Lakhs higher across the year once revised living and IHS rates land. On a INR 40 Lakhs education loan the EMI comes in near INR 54,000 a month for 10 years; the 2-year UK Graduate Route covers this. Your one action this cycle: if Chevening or Commonwealth fits your profile, file it before Diwali 2026 for September 2027 entry, that is the single decision worth INR 30+ Lakhs.

FAQs for Indian Students

Ques. What are Swansea University tuition fees for Indian students in 2026/27?

Ans. Undergraduate international fees at Swansea run £18,250 to £21,550 (INR 23.21 to 27.41 Lakhs) a year and postgraduate taught fees run £21,150 to £24,500 (INR 26.90 to 31.16 Lakhs) a year for the 2026/27 fee year. The most Indian-applied MSc programmes (Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics) are priced between £23,450 and £24,200, INR 29.82 to 30.78 Lakhs.

Ques. What is the Swansea University deposit for Indian students?

Ans. The standard tuition deposit is £4,000 (INR 5.09 Lakhs). Students domiciled in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat or Telangana pay £8,000 (INR 10.17 Lakhs), and students domiciled in Haryana or Punjab pay the full first-year tuition upfront. The deposit is credited toward Year 1 tuition and is refundable only on a documented visa refusal.

Ques. Do Indian students automatically get a scholarship at Swansea?

Ans. Yes. The Thrive Bursary of £4,000 (INR 5.09 Lakhs) is awarded automatically on the offer letter to self-funded Indian postgraduate taught students, and to Indian undergraduates in Year 1 (with £2,000 continuing in later years). No separate application is needed; it is netted off the tuition invoice.

Ques. Which Swansea PG courses have a January 2027 intake?

Ans. Only a short PG list runs the January intake, most notably MSc Management (Business Analytics) at £23,900 (INR 30.40 Lakhs). Most PG courses (MSc Data Science, MSc Computer Science, LLM International Commercial Law, MSc Civil Engineering) run September start only. Confirm the January intake on your specific course page before you commit.

Ques. Can I enter Swansea in September 2026 if I apply from India now?

Ans. No, the September 2026 intake is not a realistic entry for a fresh Indian applicant as of late July 2026. The UK Student Visa takes 3 to 8 weeks after CAS issue, and CAS itself takes 5 to 10 working days after deposit clearance, so the timeline runs into and past the enrolment cut-off. Plan for January 2027 (limited PG) or September 2027 (full range).

Ques. What is the total cost of a Swansea MSc for an Indian student?

Ans. Year 1 all-in for a Swansea MSc lands at INR 44 to 52 Lakhs including tuition, 12 months of halls-basis living, UK Student Visa £558 (INR 70,966), IHS £1,552 (INR 1.97 Lakhs) for a 12-month course, minus the Thrive Bursary of £4,000 (INR 5.09 Lakhs). Cheaper courses like LLM International Commercial Law land near INR 44 Lakhs; MSc Civil Engineering is the top of the range near INR 51 Lakhs.

Ques. Do fees increase each year at Swansea?

Ans. Yes. Swansea’s published policy is a 3% annual increase for students continuing into their second or third year of the same course. A BSc starting at £21,550 (INR 27.41 Lakhs) in 2026/27 rises to £22,197 in Year 2 and £22,862 in Year 3, totalling roughly £66,609 (INR 84.72 Lakhs) in tuition across three years.

Ques. How much bank balance do I need for the Swansea Student Visa?

Ans. UKVI requires £1,171 a month for up to 9 months for courses outside London, so £10,539 (INR 13.40 Lakhs) in your visa bank account (held for 28 continuous days), plus enough to cover any unpaid balance of Year 1 tuition. Swansea is classed as outside London for maintenance purposes.

Ques. How do I pay Swansea tuition from India?

Ans. Convera GlobalPay is Swansea’s official international payment provider; it accepts INR wires and card payments and typically saves 1.5 to 2.5% on the exchange spread versus a plain SBI/HDFC/ICICI wire. Credit or debit card via the Swansea student intranet, and education loan direct-disbursal by lenders like SBI, HDFC Credila and Avanse are also accepted. Cash is not accepted.

Ques. Can Chevening or Commonwealth scholarships cover Swansea fully?

Ans. Yes. Both scholarships cover full tuition plus living stipend and a return airfare, worth roughly £30,000+ (INR 38 Lakhs) a year, making a Swansea Master’s fully funded. Chevening 2027 for India opens 4 August 2026 and closes 5 November 2026 for September 2027 entry; Commonwealth Master’s opens August 2026. Both are highly competitive and require two years of post-Bachelor’s work experience.

Ques. Does Swansea charge an application fee for Indian students?

Ans. No, Swansea does not charge an application fee for international undergraduate or postgraduate applications. Students from Haryana and Punjab pay a £30 Qualification Check portal fee plus the institution’s surcharge; this applies to qualification verification, not to the Swansea application itself.

Ques. Is Swansea University worth the fee for Indian students?

Ans. For a specialist Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Civil Engineering or International Commercial Law tied to the UK Graduate Route, yes. Total cost of INR 44 to 52 Lakhs against a 94% graduate employment rate, a typical £30,000 to £35,000 (INR 38 to 45 Lakhs) starting salary, and 2 years of open UK work rights gives a 4 to 5 year loan payback, one of the shortest in the QS top-350 UK bracket.

  • Very updated and application-level. The emphasis was on understanding concepts and applying them in real-life situations.
  • Assignments were based on real-life problems in countries and economies, preparing us for the real world.
  • Exams were online, open-book, with strict AI and plagiarism checks to ensure fairness.
  • The final four months were dedicated to the dissertation, working closely with a professional and supportive professor. Mistakes were expected, but guidance encouraged innovation and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Mostly four 1-hour sessions per day. Classes were relaxed, inclusive, and interactive. Reference materials and slides were uploaded to the class application.
  • Roughly 30 students per class, with a diverse mix from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the UK.

Fees

  • Total tuition fee for the 1-year program: £19,250.
  • Living expenses, including rent: around £12,000.
  • Overall, including living costs, the total comes to approximately £28,000–£30,000.

Course Curriculum

  • You can expect medium to high level of difficulty. Course are design mostly in conceptual basis. you will have two mid terms in which they will provide the conceptual question and you have to sumbit it within a day of deadline applying your brain. This will be the open book exam. in the end term you will have the exam like most of the indian colleges also do have. this will be 2 and half hour exam. In a day you will have mostly 2 classes each 2 hours. In a course students have to opt the minimum required subjects to successfully complete the course and college will provide the time for that particular subject and venue of the class. However a student can attend optional subject lectures also. In some subjects you may have 100 of students and in some less students may be 30-40 depends on how many students opted for that particular subject. In my course 4 indian students were there.

Fees

  • Tution fees - Near about 12000 pounds
Hostel fee - Near about 6000-7000 pounds/ you can opt to stay in private accommodation, that you will find easily there as lots of property vendor available there and it will be cheaper than the college hostel.
  • Tution fees you have to pay maximum in two go; however hostel fees you can pay as per your wishes but ofcourse always in advance

  • Well, this is very interesting because I did not expect that it would be such a bite-the-bullet thing, but it was. The course was so long, and it was mixed but more theoretical that it had 12 subjects and 2 projects in just one year, and you had to submit 2 assignments and 1 written exam for each subject, so in four months, you had to submit 12 assignments and 6 written exams while doing a part-time job, cooking, and other homework. It would have been easy if I had stopped doing a part-time job. Anyway, it was all positive and fruitful, with no negative aspects I can see. The only downfall of not doing the part-time job is that you will never understand the actual meaning of hard work and time management. There are a lot more positive aspects, as I've got to work with the best professors and colleagues who already had a great experience with Airbus and Rolls-Royce. Another one is I got to work with Mercedes Benz on a simulation project and I had a chance to go south Africa for a solar energy project, but there was some financial issue, so it didn't turn out well. One of my friends got a chance to present his research work at the US conference. The only negative aspect I can see is the 12 subjects and many times you have only one day and you have to finish two reports on the same deadline, and there is no way you can finish.
  • The usual timings of classes were 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. There are at least 3 classes scheduled a day and max 5, Two labs for 2 hours and three hourly lectures; there could be a gap (break) of 1-to 2 hours.
  • It is uncertain to state the exact number of students because there are many classes or subjects shared with other engineering students, and some classes include students from both intakes (Fall and January). As a result, the number of students in a class can vary, sometimes ranging from 70–80 students and other times only 20–25. There were not many Indian students; 10-15 max I would say.

Fees

  • My fee was a total of 20,000 GBP, and I got a 4000 GBP scholarship, so it was 16,000 GBP overall and I paid it semester-wise, or you can pay a 25% installment every 4-5 months. I did not reside on campus. But on campus would cost you around 700-900 per month, including everything.
  • My monthly expenses were around 800-900 GBP, including 450 GBP for rent (including gas & electricity), 100 GBP for transportation, 150 GBP for food and groceries, and 50-100 GBP for shopping and nights out and all. Monthly expenses could vary if you are living with someone and sparing the bills would be cheaper than this.

Course Curriculum

  • Difficulty level of the course was quiet high, we had theoretical exams and practical assignments.
  • It had great assignment which was the positive aspect, and negative one was the professor coming and reading their presentation. But if you meet your professor seprately in their office, they helped a lot.
  • On an average, 2 classes each day.

Fees

  • Tuition fee was £19100, this included everything but at the end of the college for ceremony gown it costed £80.
  • Accommodation was upto you if you wanted to stay in the university or outside the campus. I chose to stay outside the campus because that was cheap. For me it costed £400 rent/month, bus pass for £33 / month, groceries + entertainment £300. All in all, you need at least £850/month.
