ASBM University Admission Dates 2026

ASBM University runs separate admission calendars for its management, technology, law, and general degree programmes. UG admissions for 2026-27 are active. MBA 2026-28 batch admissions have concluded and the 2027-29 cycle will open with CAT 2026 registration from August 2026.

ASBM University Courses and Fees

ASBM University offers over 25 programmes across five schools. MBA and the 5-Year Integrated MBA (IPM) are the flagship management tracks. Law, technology, and commerce schools add multi-disciplinary depth. UG programmes are offered under the 4-year Hons. degree framework aligned with NEP 2020.

MBA specialisations include Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, Business Analytics, Agribusiness, Pharma Management, and Business Intelligence and AI. The ASBM MBA curriculum carries ACBSP accreditation from the USA, a distinction among Odisha’s private B-schools. B.Sc. Actuarial Science and B.Com Fintech are newer niche tracks under the Accountancy school.

ASBM University Admission Process

ASBM University admission depends on the programme track. Management programmes require national management entrance scores. Law requires CLAT. Technology programmes accept JEE Main. ASBMUEE (ASBM University Entrance Exam) is available as an internal alternative for all programmes.

MBA and 5-Year Integrated MBA (IPM)

MBA eligibility is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Valid scores in CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, or ATMA are accepted. The MAT cutoff for General Category applicants is around 69 percentile and XAT around 70 percentile based on 2024 cycles. Selection also involves a personal interview at ASBM’s campus. IPM applicants need 10+2 with minimum 60% marks and appear for ASBMUEE.

B.Tech

Candidates need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% marks. B.Tech admissions accept JEE Main scores or the university’s own ASBMUEE. Selection follows merit in the entrance score followed by document verification and seat confirmation.

Law (BBA LLB and BA LLB)

10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks is the eligibility baseline. CLAT, AILET, or XLET scores are accepted, and the ASBMUEE-LAW is available as an alternative. The BCI approval ensures law graduates can enroll with State Bar Councils and practice in India.

UG Degree Programmes (BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA, B.Sc.)

All 4-year Hons. degree programmes admit candidates with a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2. Admissions are based on CUET UG scores or ASBMUEE, followed by merit-based shortlisting and document submission at the campus.

ASBM University Placements

ASBM University’s campus placement drive is primarily built around the MBA programme. The 2025 season reported a highest offer of INR 9 LPA and an average offer in the INR 5 to 7 LPA range. ASBM University provides 100% placement assistance through its dedicated placement cell.

Confirmed recruiters include ICICI Bank, SBI Life, PhonePe, ITC Limited, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Retail, Maruti Suzuki, Godrej and Boyce, Oppo Electronics, Haldiram, Kotak, Airtel, Nestlé, Deloitte, Asian Paints, Axis Bank, OYO, Vodafone, and Blue Dart. ASBM University Rankings

ASBM University has received recognition from Business India magazine as a top B-school, though it does not currently appear in NIRF rankings. The university holds ACBSP accreditation from the USA, which is an internationally recognised quality benchmark for business schools.

ASBM University does not currently participate in NIRF. The ACBSP accreditation is significant for candidates comparing ASBM with other Odisha B-schools, as it represents a globally-benchmarked quality standard in business education.

ASBM University Scholarships

ASBM University provides merit-based scholarships for management and UG students, in addition to central government scholarship schemes.

Students from Odisha can apply through the Odisha Scholarship Portal for state government-funded schemes. Central NSP scholarships are open annually from August to October.

ASBM University Campus and Infrastructure

ASBM University’s 35-acre green campus is located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The campus houses five academic schools under one integrated layout, with residential and transport infrastructure included.

ASBM University vs Xavier University Bhubaneswar vs Centurion University

MBA aspirants in Bhubaneswar commonly compare ASBM University with Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) and Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM). All three are private universities in Odisha with UGC recognition. ASBM is predominantly a management and law-focused university. XUB is a Jesuit-run business school known for social enterprise education. Centurion University is more technology and engineering-focused, with a strong B.Tech and MBA presence.
