Detailed review of IRMA

Likes

Placement is really transparent about package offered
Good reputation in FMCG field and development sector too
Very good alumni support in terms of support regarding job and guidance

Dislikes

Course structure like some subjects looks very irrevalent
Faculty retention rate is low as they are resigning very high

Placement Experience:

There is 100% placement in campus and major recruiter were AMUL, NDDB, MOTHER DAIRY, ADANI, AND LOTS OF BANKS. Apart from this some development sector companies also came and consultant company too like KPMG etc.

TURTHS & MYTHS OF IRMA

Likes

Campus life, greenery, animals, birds, grass, trees all makes campus very close to nature
Peers, I have got life long friends which are always in your side no matter what which have helped me to evolve as a person
Library, I like to spend time with books, in silence which made it my most liked place in campus

Dislikes

Too many celebrations...loud music sometimes sucks to people who goes to bed early
100% attendance which everyone was pissed off.

Placement Experience:

5th term in the month of January Amul, Vedanta, Medkart, Bigbasket, ITC, Godrej, Mother Dairy, Jio, Yubi, ICICI, Axis, HDFC, IDBI, IDFC, NDDB, Banas Dairy, Drools, PI Industries, DCM Shriram, Vivarthi, IIFL, SarvaGram, Khyber Dairy, Emami etc (Around 140 companies came and offered 350+ offers) HDFC- 22.5 lpa (highest); 15.6-16 lpa (average) 100% placement

IRMA- Unexplored campus

Likes

Diversity, cultural diversity; students from all the states of India
Greenery; the campus is very very green and mesmerizing
Peers, Very supportive, no restriction in hostel, feels like home

Dislikes

Entry at the main door, you have to take permission if you fail to enter before 11 PM
Attendance being 100% becomes too hectic that even at the time of serious problem one has to bear too much
Placements can be made more better by changing the time of Summer internship process

Placement Experience:

In the first week of January, we have our placements and I guess it was mid of 5th term. Amul, Dabur, PI Industries, Godrej, Mother Dairy, Papeboat, Drools, ICICI, AXIS, HDFC, IDFC, IDBI, NDDB, Banas Dairy, and 140 companies and I guess 400-something offers were made. highest 22.5 lpa HDFC took 10-12 students, and the average is 15.6 LPA. 100%, working with Mother Dairy.

IRMA- The most underrated upcoming hero college

Likes

Greenery of the Campus, birds, trees, animals and space, makes campus looks so beautiful and happy
The Block culture which acts as a family away from home, where you feels like home and supports like brothers to each other
The Faculties and their support to students at any point of time whether its academics, personal or anything

Dislikes

The campus placements can be more better as IRMA have huge alumni base and it can be utilised for the same.
Attendance was 100% in pour time till 5th term which is very hectic as one falls ill.
The time of summer internship should be in april to june but its june to August because of VFS (Village field segment) which is also a reason why there are bit less brands

Placement Experience:

Placements happen in January month which is almost the end or mid of the 5th term. 100+ companies visited with approx. 300 offers; FMCG- Amul, ITC, Dabur, Mother Dairy, Ruchi Soya, Godrej, Banas dairy, paper boat, etc; BFSI- ICICI, Axis, HDFC, IDFC, RRB subsidiaries, Yubi, IIFL, Mahindra finance, SarvaGram, Vivrithi capitals and many more, NDDB, Grand Thorton, PwC, EY, Redseer consulting, Satya micro capital, Univia, PI Industries, etc. The Highest was 22.5 lpa by HDFC & average was 15LPA. 100% placement. Working with SarvaGram as Management Trainee.

IRMA - The Face of Rural India

Likes

Greenery of the Campus and the natures touch feels so relaxed there.
Approachability to faculties is something that makes one feel like home.
Regular sessions with industry experts helps to learn at grassroot level.

Dislikes

When you need to go out you have to take permission from warden which sounds like restricted.
Also if you get late to enter in the campus premise before 11 PM you have to mail warden.
100 % attendace rule which was later made 85% but still it needs revision.

Placement Experience:

1. For off-campus you can vouch whenever you want but for campus placements, it happens in January which is mf 5tid of the term. 2. Amul, Mother Dairy, Dabur, ITC, Godrej, Adani Wilmar, PI Industries, Drools, Univia, Mcdonalds, Bakers Dozen, Coromandel, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Yubi, IDFC, Mahindra Finance, Equitas, Satya, EY, Digital Fifth, DCM, Bigbasket, med kart, Jio, Ninjacart, Zetwork, Jivago, Navdhan, IIFl (Around 100+ companies and 280+ offers were made) 3. Highest was 22.5 lpa by HDFC and avg was 15 lpa, profiles were diverse like sales & marketing, Project management, Risk analysis, etc.

My life at IRMA

Likes

Campus life is very good. There is greenery all over the campus.
Faculties are very cooperative, They even spend 30 min extra after evey class just in case someone have doubts so they can get resolved.
There is 100% placements and huge alumini network therefore no need to worry for placements.

Dislikes

Course curriculum is bit narrowed and some core subjects are there in optional therefore nkt every student het chance to learn these subjects.
Placements get delayed because of curriculum. There is one Village fieldwork segment because of it everything gets delayed whoever it is very good opportunity to understand about villages and rural area but it affects summer internship and placement

Placement Experience:

After 4th term in the month of January, placement week gets a start and everyone gets placements. This college offers 100% placements. Last year there were 350 offers for 240 students. The average package of the college is 1550000 and the highest was 2700000. I want to go into the development sector.

Likes

Green and clean Campus which give postive vibes
Old case based teaching approach (not teaching new cases)
Peer-to-peer interaction, camaraderie and rekations were just unreal

Dislikes

Could have more live projects from industries
Old classrooms were too small bug ther are reconstructed

We have our placements in 5th term around January's first week. Amul, mother dairy, ITC, Dabur, godrej, Patanjali/ruchi soya, icici bank, hdfc bank, axis, idfc, yubi, yes bank, ey, register, grand thorton, crompton, Mahindra, iifl and 110+ companies 100% placements I am Currently working with mother dairy as a management trainee - sales

Likes

Greenery of the campus, too many trees, animals, birds.
Space, single occupancy room, block comraddrie.
Gym, was decent to workout, sac was 24*7 open.

Dislikes

Placements, the alumni base which they have could have utilized it in much better way.
Peer learning could have been more better.
Placement cell, most of them don't work, freeride and just don't know how to deal toh companies .

Placement Experience:

Adani, godrej, ITC, Amul, mother dairy, Patanjali, Dabur, ey, Redseer Consulting, khyber, banas dairy, reliance retail, Vedanta, grand Thornton, icici, axis, nice, idfc, and many mo mostly sales in FMCG, and product manager in bfsi.

Best rural management institute

Likes

Liked the food and the accomodation they have given a single room for a person
The campus is green everywhere is grass lawn and it is well maintained
The professor and the course curriculum is too good that give the real field experience

Dislikes

Like there is no ac in hostel room and the mess too
Sports facilities are not according the way the iims have

Placement Experience:

Campus placement after the fifth semester, Companies -130, Number of offers 431. The Highest package is 26.5 lpa management trainee. Average package 15.5 lpa management trainee 100% placement. I will go for campus placement after my degree.

Good ratio of Faculty: Students and emphasis on the ground reality to gain real time knowledge

Dislikes

Not trying to market itself properly which in turns forbids it to true unlock the potential of achieving even greater success
Water clogging problem during the monsoon season.d
Ineffective in luring some big firms in the consulting domain.

Placement Experience:

The 42nd batch of students in IRMA's flagship PGDM(RM) curriculum had placement interviews set for January 4–12, 2023. The 42nd batch of IRMA's prestigious PGDM(RM) program received 100% placements, with an average CTC of INR 15.50 lakhs annually. The various processes and methods included endless conversations with recruiters by the Placements Office assisted by the placement preparation committee i.e. Chanakya Club. There were various Industry Connect Talks too, with 23 talks held between April and November 2022 (excluding pre-placement talks). There were 49 organizations taking part in the campus placement, and 399 job offers were made. Five of the 41 pre-placement offers that the batch was able to receive came from case competitions. The participant chooses to accept 36 of these offers. The mean CTC rose by 8.17 % but the highest and median packages stayed unchanged at 26.5 lac and 15.5 lac respectively. Nearly 42% of the batch got placed in the BFSI sector followed by FMCG and Retail.
