Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur is one of the prestigious universities located at Andhra Pradesh. It was established in the year 1976 by the former President of India, Sri Fakruddin Ali Ahmed. The university is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is one of the major universities in the country covering many colleges and institutes of districts in the region. This University has grown into a large university with 39 academic departments, including several self-financed courses. Its jurisdiction was extended to three districts now having over 450 Affiliated Colleges.

Acharya Nagarjuna University Admission

Admission to Acharya Nagarjuna University is done through offline mode. Applicants who successfully qualify Acharya Nagarjuna University Eligibility Criteria can obtain the application form from the admission portal of the university by paying the amount of 600 rupees (For SC/ ST/ PHC 500).

Acharya Nagarjuna University Admission is done on the basis of entrance test which is conducted by the university itself namely (ANUPGCET). Applicants having a valid rank in ICET are exempted from entrance test. Final selection is done on the basis of overall performance of the candidate.


Acharya Nagarjuna University Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (ANUPGCET) is a state level exam which is conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Gunter for admission to Postgraduate courses. ANUPGCET 2018 is conducted in the first week of May 2018. The minimum eligibility for ANUPGCET is graduation degree with minimum 50% marks.
