Course curriculum is very good according to our college this prepare us for attending interview and make us select and communication skills will also include and what i feel is we should have subjects that are relevant to our course and timing of exams are not that much good every 4 months we are having exams that makes very difficult.

The placement rate is around 90% with top performing branches like computer science and information technology recording even higher higher placement percentages .Major recruiters include TCS,WIPRO etc.

Placement Experience:

From fourth semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies that visited campus till now are LTI mind tree, ADP, Infosys, TCS, ILM etc . The highest package can range upto 10 lakh and average package of 3 lakh. so many students are placed in very good companies. after graduation i would like to get a good job.

What is your review of Andhra University?

One of my friends graduated from Andhra University. According to him, it is very reputed among students as well as professionals. But like every other institution, it also has its fair share of positives and negatives. Let me share them with you which you can analyze later on.

Pros:

  • It is one of the oldest universities in the country, hence has a great alumni network.
  • The student intake in each department is 30-60, which benefits the student-teacher interaction.
  • Each department has its own dedicated library consisting of several books, magazines, journals, and other study materials.
  • The campus is huge, covering 600 acres.
  • They have the biggest sports ground. Students are also provided with a gym and basketball court.
  • The entire campus is wifi enabled.

Cons:

  • The placements are average. The number of companies visiting the college has gradually decreased.
  • The lab equipment is not well maintained or upgraded.
  • Andhra University follows the age-old curriculum with little to no changes.
  • Students are told to put more emphasis on theoretical learning than practical.
  • Exams are mostly based on theories rather than practicals.

Overall, it is an above-average institution. It may not be like the IITs or NITs but still works well. It is suggested that you opt for this only if you have missed the opportunity to study in the IITs or NITs.
