Our college provides placements for students. There are companies like TCS, Deloitte, ADP, Infosys, LTI Mindtree, LNT, 24/7 AI, Genpact, Infinite Solutions. The average package is 3.8 lakhs, and highest package is 6 lpa. 90% of students getting placements.

Placement Experience:

From 4.1 semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements.There are so many companies such as Capgemini, Infosys,TCS,Hexware and wipro.There are 100 percentage of students getting placed in companies.The highest package is 2400000 in Infosys and 800000 in TCS.I should join the company after getting calling letter from company

Placement Experience:

From the 7 semester onwards the students are becoming eligible for the campus placements. sometimes 6 semester students also eligible for the campus placements. The companies that are visited to our college placements are Episource, Zifo, Divis, Hetero, MSN, Global data. Episource provided 52 offers and then hetero provided 20 offers , divis provided 10 offers and MSN provided 15 offers, Global data provided 25 offers. The highest package provided by zifo is 4.2 LPA. The percentage of students getting placements are about 50 percent.

One of my friends graduated from Andhra University. According to him, it is very reputed among students as well as professionals. But like every other institution, it also has its fair share of positives and negatives. Let me share them with you which you can analyze later on.

Pros:

  • It is one of the oldest universities in the country, hence has a great alumni network.
  • The student intake in each department is 30-60, which benefits the student-teacher interaction.
  • Each department has its own dedicated library consisting of several books, magazines, journals, and other study materials.
  • The campus is huge, covering 600 acres.
  • They have the biggest sports ground. Students are also provided with a gym and basketball court.
  • The entire campus is wifi enabled.

Cons:

  • The placements are average. The number of companies visiting the college has gradually decreased.
  • The lab equipment is not well maintained or upgraded.
  • Andhra University follows the age-old curriculum with little to no changes.
  • Students are told to put more emphasis on theoretical learning than practical.
  • Exams are mostly based on theories rather than practicals.

Overall, it is an above-average institution. It may not be like the IITs or NITs but still works well. It is suggested that you opt for this only if you have missed the opportunity to study in the IITs or NITs.
