- The faculty was good and responsible, easy available of references and easy understanding, well professionalized lectures
- The opportunity for scholarships and placements is also top-class at andhra university.
- My experience in my college was pretty good.they have good faculty and facilities in the classroom and the classroom and washroom are kept clean .they provide labs for physics and chemistry,and also they celebrate annual fests and farewells and sports
Dislikes
- The faculty here are very much experienced and well known about the subject but the prblm here is that they just teach us about the subject and go but no one will let you ask if you understand it or not.
- Nothing much but there will be disparities between students and it is difficult to get seat in wished group
- I dislike the college b?cause they is only some placement for the course

- We don't have ground to play any games they won't let us do any physical activities
- College will not allow us to do fresher parties or farewell functions
Course Curriculum Overview:
Yes I took my major as statistics so it is rule that we have to take minor as data science and we can continue for masters with statistics or data science which is completely optional and college will allow us to lab once in a week for 2hrs there we need to practice what is discussed in class

- The classes are really professional and big.
- The professors and all the higher authorities are really caring.
- They use the new generation method to teach (Presentations and smart screens)
Dislikes
- The hostels are really dirty and the rooms are really weird looking.
- The mess food is just down bad. No one should eat that.
Placement Experience:
The placements of this collge is really good. The average is around 5 lakhs per annum and it can go till 44 lakhs per annum. Someone from our college even got 4 crores in google, switzerland in 2012..

My aim was too Crack the bank exams .so i decided to take MSCS which was statistic subject was main subject...The curriculum is very aspire to teach and prepare to fight in real world competition..they are very inspire and motivate to our goals..

Course Curriculum Overview:
My course bsc MPC aspects of the curriculum that influenced to choose this course because i studied same MPC in intermediate so that's why I chose this course and it's ok for me . The timing for exams are ok 6 months gap for each semester

- I like the infrastructure of our department after the development made by our alumina
- I like the faculty teaching and the way they even take extra care if we have extra doubts.Even other departments students learn coding languages and get a cse honours
- I like the way my college has many cultural events and events done by our club AU United
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of other departments is a bit lacking
- More opportunities for open category students should be provided
- It's cleanliness should be improved as my college is very large college I can understand it's difficult to keep it clean and hostels should be clean and have a better condition
Placement Experience:
We have a very good amount of students who gets jobs during placements.Many people rather prefer going for higher studies .In all other departments too I see there are many placmeners and we have many people who got placed abouge 50 lpa

The course which we choosed is very good and we really enjoy by knowing new things which we didn't know and the practical was really very enjoyable and uses for our further studies too..and also we feel good

- Good college based on students.only merit people get admission there
- Good campus with lot of trees and plants and large playground
- Good faculty who completed their phds in great colleges like iits,nits
Dislikes
- Management must upgrade to some digital .for hostel fee payment and room allotment
- Infrastructure of hostels are bad and low maintenance
- Some unnecessary powers are given to Watchmen who behaves rude to students some times
Course Curriculum Overview:
Civil engineering is good stream for both corporate and government jobs and has many vacancies in all sectors...even the payscale at starting is low but experience gives you more opportunities and good payscale and good life

- In this college they have less space for Playing cricket
- Gym facilities is not available in his college

3rd year 2nd semester students become eligible for campus placement and 4th year 1st semester and 2nd semester students also eligible for campus placement.

The highest package is 25lakhs per annum
The lowest package is 7lakhs for per annum
95% of students getted placements
My plan is to get the best campus placement

- Students are getting job opportunities at a higher rate .
- Better campus placements are observed compared to other colleges.

- Our college doesn't have enough lectures to teach the subject .
- No extracurricular activities are conducted other than studies.
- Teaching skills are low compared to other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have opted this course as it has a better future compared to other courses.
The curriculum prepares only the basics, we students have to gain knowledge using other source .
The teaching should be improved so that no other source is required for learning.

- The sports facilities are good and some of the classes are also good and environment is saying nice, and the teaching methods are also liked so much
- There are many things that I like to mention
Dislikes
- The sports ground is not good, but rather everything is good
- They need to maintain the ventilation in some of the classes like they don’t have good ventilation in few classes
Placement Experience:
The placement of college is good as it improved from past three years. We are having a good packages and also many companies are coming forward to a recruit the freshers and they giving internships for us so that we can build up our skills and join in that company as permanent, employees as the faculty and the colleges supporting us for joining in And the degree here is given having a good value to college and so that we can add up in resume. For example, their money companies come for interviews. For example, Google, Concentrix, Samsung, etc

What is your review of Andhra University?

One of my friends graduated from Andhra University. According to him, it is very reputed among students as well as professionals. But like every other institution, it also has its fair share of positives and negatives. Let me share them with you which you can analyze later on.
Pros:
- It is one of the oldest universities in the country, hence has a great alumni network.
- The student intake in each department is 30-60, which benefits the student-teacher interaction.
- Each department has its own dedicated library consisting of several books, magazines, journals, and other study materials.
- The campus is huge, covering 600 acres.
- They have the biggest sports ground. Students are also provided with a gym and basketball court.
- The entire campus is wifi enabled.
Cons:
- The placements are average. The number of companies visiting the college has gradually decreased.
- The lab equipment is not well maintained or upgraded.
- Andhra University follows the age-old curriculum with little to no changes.
- Students are told to put more emphasis on theoretical learning than practical.
- Exams are mostly based on theories rather than practicals.
Overall, it is an above-average institution. It may not be like the IITs or NITs but still works well. It is suggested that you opt for this only if you have missed the opportunity to study in the IITs or NITs.
