Gauhati University Guwahati Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Percentage of getting placements is extremely poor. May be 10%. From 6th semester, you become eligible for campus placements(if you don't have any backlog). There are many companies our alumnus are working on - Infosys, wipro, tcs, byju's. This year highest package is offered to 10 lakhs for the post of business analyst,in byju's( placements is worst)

Good Compared to State college/institute, the laboratory are good infrastructure are good. The Placement of the College is not good, if you want to join only for job purpose it is not for you. but for learning purpose it is good.

Faculty is outstanding and our college is near from my home. The environment of our college is very good. Like it have many big trees, two canteens, clean washrooms, good security, friendly faculty members and so on. I opted for Geography as my major subject because since childhood I was facinated by Geography. Our department is the best department according to me. We have everything in our department from kitchen to 4 washrooms, to one big computer lab to 6 class room, one library, teachers common room to hod's room and associate professors room and so on. We do maintain bulletin board. Our activities are been observed by principal Sir as we have cameras everywhere. Using of mobile phones are prohibited in the college campus. Our attendance is taken online i.e through mobile phones by the respected teachers which is eco-friendly(saves paper).

Handique Girls college, is the only reputed and demanding college out of two other colleges under GU for psychology. And psychology is one of the most Demanding and upcoming subject. I found it very interesting when I was in class 12.

This college was recommended by my brother. Campus infrastructure is good. The library is surely very good, it has a lot of books, which can be issued by students or teachers of the college through their library cards.

The faculties of each department of our institute are very enthusiastic and helpful. Here the lab infrastructure including hostel management are very upto date. Class are held in regular basis and attendance of every student are mainly prioritised here. Lastly education demand here is very promising

gauhati university is the oldest university of north east india. Previous year our HOD ma'am was selected as Vice Cencellor of Assam women's university, jorhat and it is really pride for us. I opting to study in this university because it is overall a good university among north east india.

I have choose GUIST because GUIST is located at my hometown. I have chosen GUIST because in-campus recruitment is good in GUIST. I have chosen GUIST because the in-campus environment is so beautiful.

Gauhati University is the one of popular university of assam because of it's cultural events, elections and the oldest university of assam so that it gain much popularity among students and that is the cause i am choosing election because of spent it's whole environment.

This is one of the best university in Guwahati also education system is good in a environment is good for education and have a big campus. Good opportunity and open learning distance is also provide by the university
