admission in my college is totally and offline process. The only way to be a part of reputed institution you have to to score good marks in class 12th examination and merit list is prepared on the basis of the score obtained in in 12th boards examination. I got admission into this college by scoring 84% in my class 12th examination.

I was admitted in this college on the basis of my percentage in the CBSE exam. So I didn't have to prepare for any sort of entrance exam. I scored a decent of 70% and could manage to get admission in the college.

IDOL division of Gauhati University offers M.Com. M.Sc. and MA courses, is accessible in three areas IT, Economics and Mathematics. In MA stream is offered is in 11 areas. All PG courses are of a period of two years. For all the other courses of post graduation, the candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a well known Indian University.

I applied online from college's website www.jagiroadcollege.co.in where i had to register with my phone no. and email id. I had to pay Rs.250 for the application form and later the selection was processed wholly on Merit based and next the names of the shortlisted candidates were put on the college's website.

A admission form need to be filled which can be both online and offline, i preferred online registration so during my time i filled the application form online and submitted along challan Journal number given by the bank. The application fee is Rs.200 which need to be paid via debit or credit card.

I choose this college because I) this is the best college in Golaghat II) the college is active in co curricular sectors III) my brothers are successfully passed out from this college IV) It receives A grade to NAAC

The college is coed, quite famous for its academics, and extracurricular activities too. I heard quite a lot about it by my elder sister, as she is an alumni, she told me about her experiences & I pursued for the same.

I chose English Majors because I was always good in literature and books. I love reading. And I wanted to persue a career in the same. For me, the learning experience mattered and not some big-name college from Delhi University. So I chose this humble one. However, I was amazed by their teaching skills and others. The professors are the best. There were around 60 students per class. Only one section in the first semester and later it got increased. Exams were moderately tough and you could pass them but only if you studied. And you had to study believe me. The teaching method used by the professors was simple. Teaching from the books. Overall a very good faculty.

From 4th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. 54% of students got placement preparation for UPSC exams is my dream

I completed my higher secondary examination from this college and so I decided to pursue this course too from this college. Teachers are very charming in our college and also the location of our college is very good.
