- The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
- The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities
- The courses are very good as they probide a vast selection of them.
Dislikes
- There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
- Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
- Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

English is something I was always interested in and the curriculum is vast there are lot things about novels, drama, and history in real world we can use the idea of drama to put real play with a help of reference and we have a mid term sessional exams and the final end semester exam

- The faculty's expertise, teaching methods and mentorship quality is overall good. There are various knowledgeable faculties present in the campus, they even guide you through your different career goals.
- The quality of the infrastructure is average.
- The effectiveness of the placement services and the support provided for career advancement overall good.

- Some of the faculty's though they possess the relevant expertise and knowledge, they are not able to express that through teaching.

Average fees make this course most pursued.The curriculum prepares you for the real world in a very effective manner. The course should include more subjects connected with the real commerce world rather than focusing on other areas.

- The college freshers really goes well there !!
- The events like college week are really great !!
- The teaching staff is really great and feels like we are still in school !!
Dislikes
- The newly built washroom is really great and hygienic ... But the others are not !!
- There are no Air conditioners in the college classrooms .
Course Curriculum Overview:
The NEP has brought out many useful aspects in the learning journey ... As now , the student gets real life problems to solve ... Which overall helps them in real business problem solving ... And we would get internship in the 3rd semester ... Which also gives an advantage for the students to cope up with things in the future !!

- The professors are well versed w their subjects and are all selected through NPSC exams so their teaching is great.
- Freedom for students and the fact that there is no sale of tobacco products in and around the campus .
- They do not charge monthly fees since it's a government college.
Dislikes
- Bus service is very bad which creates alot of difficulties for town dwellers .
- We spend 80 rs daily if we miss the bus or the bus is full since the number of buses and trips is limited.
- Unavailability of running water in washrooms and no maintenance of toilet.

For the 2024 batch , our college introduced the NEP policy so we are able to improve in skills as well as our studies as well which prepares us for future and civil services as well because we tend to learn abit of arts and abit of science as well, we are not focused on one particular paper only so it's a plus point for us

Placement Experience:
After completion of graduation exams only students are choosen. I have completed B.Com degree from this college and I am very thankful to this college. But placement offers are very less not proportionate as compared to universities

- Infrastructure is quite nice and it looks better in rainy season
- Developments of clubs in the campus is on rapid mode
- Well performed labs with very tallented teachers
Dislikes
- Hostel mess food is likely baad and sometimes non eatable
- Hostel condition is little bad looks bad in rainy season
- There is no student union in the college to tackle student related matters.
Placement Experience:
Placements are very nice in this campus of ours the highest placement in the history of this campus was taken by a student of instrumentation engineering which was about 25 lakhs per annum. The best branch for placements is the food engineering technology.

- The bus service for the college as it get's too crowded.
- No proper supply of water in the washroom.
- some department don't have proper class infrastructure.

I'm not gonna lie , I haven't got any seat in GCC so I chose Guwahati College
The classroom needs improvement, the class is too small
Students are 150 and capacity is only 100

Placement Experience:
After 3rd semester student will be eligible for placement you join the faculties or you can work in any department.after getting degree I'll move on to business management and build my own empir of bussiness

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.
Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.
Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.
Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.
Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.
The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
