- The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
- The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities

- There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.

- The campus is beautiful. And it is easy to socialise with everyone. The activities are fun and students are often encouraged by faculties.
- The syllabus get completed in timely manner.
Dislikes
- Students are not given wifi... Even in library.
- Girls and boys common room is not really upto mark.
- Toilets should be more hygienic and clean.

My course is Zoology. The presence of specimens in the museum of our department as well the expertise of professors have really kept my intrigue and interest. We live in a biodiversity world and hence, knowing about animals will help us to learn how to take steps to conserve them..

- The college fees is comparatively very low which benefits students coming from lower section of the society . The college also offers fee waiver facility to economically weaker sections of the society . Books are given for free.
- Teachers are very professional and friendly .
- The ambience is very beautiful surrounded by many big trees which makes it very windy.

- Doesn't provides intership or placement opportunities.
- Doesn't care much about students attendance.
- Classes are not regular , sometimes classes are cancelled without prior notice.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was influenced to take English as my honours subject as I always loved this subject since school . Though its a bit different what you study in English as school student but I'm learning many new things . Exams are conducted after every six months and a pre test also happens before the final examinations.

- Best well disciplined and maintained college.
- Many more good facilities are available.
- It’s one of the best college in Guwahati
Dislikes
- I disliked nothing there, those were my golden days in that institute.
Placement Experience:
Students can get placements after 4th semester.
Many different commercial and government companies visits there.
About 50% of students can get placements in different companies.
I prefer to take Banking courses.

- The teachers were very friendly. They behave like family. You can talk to them about your personal problems.
- The environment is very soothing. Though the college is small but the environment is really nice. There are many trees, ponds etc
- The college appreciates cultural enthusiasts. It offers many programs that promotes cultural activities.
Dislikes
- The location in which the college is situated. Though the college is nice but as soon as you go out of the college gate you find loads of durt and lots of trucks moving at a very high speed.
- The college does not have personal sports teams. It highers other players to play for the college club
- The college is scared to spend more money on infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Well, the college is currently based on the old style of teaching where they still use black bords and old style class rooms. But recently they have added smart boards and telivisions in classrooms to over hype the sense of education. In fact the teachers also use online classes to make the studies more relevant.

The course curriculum is very up-to-date. The college provides cbcs, non cbcs as well as fyugc. The syllabus of each course is very well maintained keeping in mind its impact and practice and also the need for the course in practical life.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course I'm opting right now is Economics. The faculty members are great and does each and every class most of the times. They try not to miss any of the class as the syllabus is vast and time is short. The teachers explains us in a very short and simple way. They do repeat if somebody doesn't understand things.

The courses intertwined in our college is well relatable and logical to the daily world along with the fast growing modern world. It will help us for our further studies and researches, also finding jobs will be eadier with these qualified certificated provided by the college.
Exams are taken after 6 month and it sums up the senester in a easier way. Also we are asked to write a pre exam for 30 marks for better understanding and better performance in the final examinations

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.
Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.
Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.
Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.
Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.
The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
