- The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
- The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities

- There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
- Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
- Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I think The present new education policy is creating burden among the students and nothing helpful , earlier there use to be 3-4 subject and now there is 7 subjects which is very time consuming and useless . The students were unable to concentrate on their major subjects because of these minor subjects

- Study environment flexible being a semi government just the proper teacher on time classes schedule needs to be improved.
- Social interactions were better with each new day and a new beginning with new students to catch up with.
- Being a government college whichever facilities required basic amenities were provided to almost all extent.
Dislikes
- Class timings and schedule lectures needs to be more accurate
- teachers on time with syllabus updated version needs more updated with latest and upcoming day to day versions.
- co curricular activities needs more enhancement along with exams structure and student environment to adjust with the same.
Course Curriculum Overview:
More inclined towards economics being both theory in practice and practical. day to day financial aspects, social aspects,relevance to the subject adds more knowledge from the subject. more exposure to economic background and learning the growth and structure in terms of development of the country as a whole.

- Guwahati University is very culturally diversified and provides many opportunities and also career guidance, guwahati University also knowledge which helps to overall character of a student
- provides knowledge which is outside of the usual bokkish
Dislikes
- Pretty old school techniques of teaching
- Too much use of native language by the professors
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placement after 4 th semester that is after 2 nd year
Information not known
40lakhs is the highest package got by a student
Percentage of the students getting placements is decent
After getting the degree I would like to clear some competitive exams

- I mostly like my department faculty they help us a lot .
- I also like the extra cources provided by the college.
- I also like the Library facilities and the e-learning course.
Dislikes
- They don't let us go out of the college till 1 pm .
- The college area is not so big . There is no place to sit .
- The college canteen is not that good it .
Course Curriculum Overview:
I mainly took the history major because of the faculty of the department they are very good in what they teach . The even provided us with extra cources related with history like archeological and museumology . The give us notes in the class even clear our doubts .

- There is a pond in our college..u can have a quality time out there

- Playground is too small..and is used as a parking
- No proper equipments for outdoor games..

Course curriculum is good ..... The curriculum is overall good
..I like the curriculum...it is very helpful...the curriculum is well designed and is very beneficial for students ..... exam's are conducted by respective departments in a specific time

- Faculties are good and well experienced. They are helpful. You can research your paper and other documents in department library and department computer lab
- Infrastructure is good to experience. They provide placement and placement seminar too.
- Comparatively the fee amount is lesser to other university.
Dislikes
- Sometimes you might not get water in the washroom
- The horrible behaviour of the administrative department. Not good at all. The worst pat of the whole university.
- Hostel condition is not upto that mark. Food and infrastructure both they can improve at least.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Guwahati university is one of the finest university in Assam. However, you might face difficulties when you need to coordinate with the administrative department. They are not polite, the way they should.
Departments and Classes are very good. They complete their syllabus on time, but exam level is quite difficult during master's.
You have to attend the classes, you can't miss those, they you can obtain a good mark,otherwise it is really difficult.
If I mention about the syllabus, it is good but not upto date. It is a kind of old syllabus compare to other universities.

What is your review of Gauhati University?

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.
Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.
Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.
Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.
Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.
The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
