Placement Experience:

From third-year students get eligible for placements. About 75-80 percent students gets placed each year in top companies. Highest package is somewhat 35 lacs per anum and average package is 7.5lacs per anum. Top recruitment companies are samsung , hp , godrej , nokia etc. 80-90 percent gets internship in top companies. I want to get placed in top companies as a backup and then start my own business.

Remarks:

NIT Silchar is one of the top 10 NITS and excels in the area of research and development. It has collaborations with institutes in France, Germany, and various other countries and is expanding manifolds with each day. I got this college from the Jee mains entrance exam, and since then I've loved the experience of being a part. The teachers are super active to take the college to greater heights and nurture the students and polish them to their maximum potential. Now the clubs and the co-curriculars of the college are one of the best in complete North east India and thus makes NIT Silchar one of the premium institutes and thus I chose it for [pursuing my b.tech from here.

Remarks:

First of all, Jee is a kind of exam where college of most of the students is decided by their rank and not by their will. And second thing is that i always wanted to pursue aerospace engineering but no NIT has this brance hence i opted for mechanical. And best college for my rank with mech branch was NITS.

Remarks:

All are Good things about my college. It is good in terms of location, placement, college faculties, college infrastructure, research etc. No any bad issues with the college. You can come freely in the college, study and go. Try to be communicative with professors. All the best.Reason for preferring it over other college is its placement. About 90% students get placed. Jee mains result came in June 2018 and and counseling started soon after that. I applied for all the available colleges in preference order of good college, good branch, nearest college, etc. I got selected for NIT Silchar with Electronics and communication Engineering in First round and it remained same till all 6 round. So I went there for admission.I searched various places to get the view of colleges but I preferred mostly https://collegedunia.com/ website. This website is very good to get all required details.

NIT Silchar is the Institute of National Importance setup by MHRD. It is the 9th best NIT and is one of the prestigious institutes with a lush green campus sprawling over 650 acres, great infra, free LAN availability, and great sports and cultural exposure. The Labs are decent and a lot of oppurtunities available to develop a great personality in both technical and social aspects. Year round activities make sure overall development. Placement Experience:

The placement record is very good with an average placement of 7Lpa CTC and 75% placement percentage throughout all branches. The placement record of the CSE branch is even better with an average placement of 11Lpa CTC with 100% placement percentage. Big giants like Amazon, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs have also visited the campus. Along with that, a few PSUs also visit the campus for on-campus placements. The T&P cell is quite active in the college and provides great opportunities to students for internships and placement.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is very good. The training and placement cell is responsible for bringing in more companies. The maximum placement is done in IT sectors and the CSE department gets the maximum paid jobs. The highest pay goes up to 35LPA and the average is 8LPA. Most of the students are placed in IT companies. Few core companies also visit but for that, the competition is very high. In CSE almost 100% of students get placement with an average of 10LPA. For other departments, the percentage of placement is a little less but more or less every decent student will get the placement if they work a little hard. My plan after The degree is to get a job from college. I shall be continuing my job for 2 years or so and meanwhile, I'll prepare for some other competitive exams like MBA or IES.
