- Here the faculty is very nice they are ready help when students need there help
- Here placements is so good and many top companies are approaching to the college students here having good opportunity for the placements average placements is about 13lakhs per annual combining all branches
- Many scholarships like fcc, nsp and others are student welfare related and do help the students alot.
Dislikes
- Scholarship are there for weak section of society.. my fees is somewhat between 140000 to 150000 years as i didn't receive any scholarship or anything.
- The hostel facility is not that great, there is a food problem in terms of taste and water problem in terms of hygiene, there are some issues with the internet also.
- The attendance criteria is really strict and the behaviour of the professors are not good

Placement Experience:
Placements are good .most of our seniors get placed in the campus placement mainly my branch is good for campus placement.our branch is having the least student strength in the overall college.we are just 100 whereas other branches have 160-180 students.due to low strength they get easily placed in the core companies

- There is a lot of things I liked about the collage like the biggest and greenest campus in all NITS.
- The environment of the college is also very friendly.
- And the fest especially the cultural fest of the college is the best .
Dislikes
- Weather of the region is unpredictable, any time you can expect rain .
- Humidity is high in this region so that can be problematic some times and very irritating.
- There is no mobile internet working in hostels but there is high speed lan provided by admin.
Placement Experience:
There is a complete seperate cell for placement in our college.students in 7th or 8th are eligible for placements.
Recently Amazon and Flipkart visited our college and a offered job to lot students.in my branch placement is around 70% .my plans are to go for a government job.

- Poor Network inside the Campus is a problem
Placement Experience:
The placements in the campus is producing amazing results every year. The Branches like CSE, ECE have 95%+ placement ratio. While core branches have 90%+ placement ratio in the campus. The students become eligible for placements in the 7th sem.

- There is the largest digital library here
- There is a sports complex where all the activities are held
- There is a tennis court but not in good condition
Dislikes
- No proper hall where the programme can be held such as freshers and more
- Not proper seating arrangements and spacing or a big classroom for 1st year
- Tennis court condition is bad and also gym has no trainer or supervisor
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are good enough for a fresh start and after that we even may rise higher by experience.. the campus drive is held in the December 2nd week onwards and about all the eligible candidates get a good placements overall

- The college environment is good between nature surrounded by lakes and beauty.
- The faculty is good enough and the teaching methodology is satisfactory.
- Wide variety of lab equipments are availaible.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not upto the mark and is not well maintained.
- Paper checking is very strict and the academics is very hectic
- There is some division on the basis of Home State and Other State.
Placement Experience:
Placements are very good enough.Eligible from 7th semester.For 2023 The average package was 9.82 LPA for our branch and the highest was 45.5 LPA. More than 150 companies visited the campus that year. The placement percentage was about 88 percent. In case I am not placed, I will pursue masters from Germany

- I dislike attendence system of this college
- Also I dislike about the mess food and water sometimes
- I dislike to get tough paper in mid sem exams
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course is very much detailed and tough subject to include in syllabus.there are vast number of classes and we have to do this. The frequency of exams is very much near as mid semester and end semester and many many minors

- The professors have great knowledge to impart to the students. Professors here have good recognition outside campus
- The environment of the college campus is amazing. There is lush greenery everywhere.
- College has a decent placement scenario. The average package here is 10 lpa
Dislikes
- Infrastructure has become too old. It needs repair specially the hostels
- The campus is an open campus which makes it somewhat unsafe
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd year itself.
Many companies have visited such as Google, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Amazon, Samsung etc.
There were great companies for tech as well as core job sector

- The college has a huge lush green campus of 650 acres with plenty of sports facilities a basketball court , football field ,Tennis court, Basketball court , Indoor stadium Kho kho and Kabaddi field and a Student activity Center
- The professors are highly qualified with some being in the list oh world's top 2% scientist in the world.
- Their multiple clubs and societies in the college which students can join based on their interest. (eg- GDSC, Codding club, Dance club(AAveg),Music club,NSS,NCC,etc.)
Dislikes
- The Time Schedule might turn out quite hectic at times at time classes starting from 8 am in the morning to 5 PM in the evening
- Though teachers are highly qualified not all are good at teaching and some are at times even too strict
- The older hostels do not have good bathrooms and rooms are quite small compared to number of students accomodeted
Placement Experience:
The placement of the college is quite great with highest placement at a staggering 1.62 Cr, many got placed into companies like Catterpillar, Microsoft, amazon , etc.
The companies that visited include- APDCL, ONGC, Microsoft, Catterpiller, flipkart, NRL.

- Sports facilities are very good like very big cricket and football ground with lightning facilities and indoor complex for indoor games like badminton table tennis etc
- Campus area is 660 acres and there is greenery all around the campus
- Hostels are very good and teacher's are helpful
Dislikes
- Weather conditions are not quite good there is rain at any time
- Vegetarians face a little bit problems in nit cafe and shops
- Academics is tough as compared to other nit in india
Placement Experience:
In terms of placement it is among top 5 nit in india it's avg package is 10 lacs for cse department the average package is 24 lacs the percentage of students getting placed overall is around 85 percent and for cse it's 97 percent

- Campus has good maintained a cricket ground and a football ground with flood lights
- Good boys and girls ratio ,it is something around 1:5
- Professors are very helpful and have good knowledge in their respective field
Dislikes
- Weather of Silchar is not predictable it is very uncertain
- Infrastructure can be improved by administrator
- Vegetarian problem in canteen present in campus
Placement Experience:
Placement record is very good in NIT silchar ,in 2023 , median package of Computer science and engineering is 18 lpa and average is 24.6lpa
Not only CSE placement is also good in other branches overall median of all branches is 10lpa and average is 14lpa .highest package is 80lpa
So many companies come to hire students
