IIM Raipur Admission 2027 has a separate process for each programme. The two year MBA is based on the CAT 2026 score, followed by a personal interview held jointly with three other IIMs. IIM Raipur then makes its own merit list. The MBA in Public Policy and Governance is only for students from Chhattisgarh, and the state pays the tuition fee. The Executive MBA is for working people and needs three years of work. The Ph.D needs a test score and an interview at the Raipur campus. CAT 2026 is on 29 Nov 2026. Every seat is offered from a merit list, and the reservation rules of the government apply.
IIM Raipur MBA Admission 2027
The two year MBA is the main full time programme at IIM Raipur. Classes are held at the Atal Nagar campus in Raipur, and students live in twin sharing hostel rooms. IIM Raipur filed a yearly figure of 331 seats for its two year programmes in NIRF 2025. Admission is based on CAT 2026 and a personal interview. The fee for the 2026-28 batch adds up to INR 20.08 Lakhs.
IIM Raipur MBA Eligibility 2027
You need at least 60% in Class 10 and Class 12, and 50% in graduation. SC and ST students need 55% in school and 45% in graduation. You also need a CAT percentile above the minimum in every section. For General students, it is 75 in each section and 90 overall. To reach the final merit list, General, EWS and NC-OBC students need 60% in graduation.

IIM Raipur MBA Selection Process 2027
The final merit list gives marks out of 150, not percentages. The CAT score gives 50 marks, and the interview gives 40. Class 10, Class 12 and work experience give 15 marks each. Women and transgender students get 8 marks, and some non engineering degrees get 2. A top ten NIRF college or a CFA level adds up to 5 marks.

IIM Raipur MBA (Public Policy and Governance) Admission 2027
This two year MBA is run with the Government of Chhattisgarh under the Chief Minister's Good Governance Fellowship. Only students with a Chhattisgarh domicile can apply. The state government pays the full tuition fee. Each student also gets INR 50,000 a month. You study at IIM Raipur and work in state departments and district offices.

The Ph.D is a full time research programme on the Raipur campus. You pick one of eight areas, such as Marketing or Finance and Accounts. Tuition, library, computer and hostel fees are waived. You get INR 50,000 a month in the first two years and INR 55,000 a month in years three and four.

IIM Raipur admission 2024 will be done through a Common Admission Process (CAP), along with the other 9 IIMs. IIM Raipur MBA admissions are based on the CAT, followed by a Personal Interview. IIM Raipur CAT cut-off is 94 percentile overall and 73 percentile for sectional. IIM Raipur MBA intake is 328 for the 2024-26 batch. The candidates are shortlisted for the Personal Interview, based on the percentile obtained in CAT 2023. Those candidates who have scored above the minimum cut-off have a high chance of getting shortlisted for the personal interview. The final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the final composite score, which is calculated based on the parameters like CAT score, PI, score, VARC, and profile.

Post Graduate Program (PGP) is a master’s level full-time residential program at IIM Raipur. IIM Raipur is part of the Common Admission Process 2024. The admission for this program follows a two-stage process, namely, shortlisting candidates for personal interview (PI) & personal profile mapping, and final selection. Selection of candidates is based on the Final composite score under each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, and ST). This admission policy applies only to the PGP selection process for the 2024-26 batch. Please note that IIM Raipur reserves the right to modify the shortlisting criteria for personal interview and final selection at any point in time till the admission of the 2024-26 batch is completed.

Yes, IIM Raipur conducts entrance examinations for the certification courses. You must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. You must have 3 years minimum work experience.
