STAGE I: Personal Interview Shortlisting Round

Stage 3: Offer Acceptance

For a limited time the IIM Raipur portal would be opened for students to submit the admission fee of INR 75,000. This is basically a confirmation and acceptance of the admission seat at IIM Raipur. But those who would like to withdraw will be refunded a fee of INR 1000 before registration dates.

IIM Raipur MBA Selection Criteria (Foreign Students)

Students must have a valid score in GMAT of 650 or above.
They must hold a relevant and justifiable passport.
Students must have a TOEFL certificate (if required). With an iBT score of 80 an PBT score of 520.
Upon application submission and thorough evaluation an interview will be conducted through video conferencing.

IIM Raipur ePGP Admission Criteria 2021

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have scored at least 50% in their bachelor’s degree. The relaxation for different category of students are as follows:

Women candidates: 45% aggregate
SC / ST / PwD candidates: 40% aggregate
Also a work experience of minimum 02 years is mandatory.

IIM Raipur EPGP Admission Merit list is prepared after 2 phase shortlisting process.

STAGE I: Basic Shortlisting (CS)

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate applying for IIM Raipur PGPM WE Program should have passed bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% marks in any relevant discipline.

Work Experience: A minimum 3 years of work experience is mandatory to be eligible post-qualifying bachelor’s degree exams.

Selection criteria

Applicants will be admitted based on their scores in the CAT entrance exam.
They will be further called for GD and PI.
An NOC must be arranged for, if selected for admission from the current employer.

IIM Raipur EFPM Admission Criteria 2021

IIM Raipur offers EFPM program is designed for working professionals having at least 7 Years of industry experience. The following specializations are offered under this program. They are Business Policy and Strategy, Economics and Business Environment, Finance and Accounting, Information Technology and System, Marketing Management, Operations Management, and Organisational Behaviour & HRM.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have a master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent to be eligible for admission at EFPM program of IIM Raipur.

Key Points:

Applicant with a PGP / EPGP / PGPWE from any IIM with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 out of 10 point scale is also eligible.
CA / ICWA with a degree and CS with B.Com degree with a minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent.
An Integrated master’s degree in any discipline with 60% marks, obtained in +2 or equivalent.

Eligibility Criteria: Students must have a Master's degree or PGP degree from IIM in any discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade.

A bachelor's degree in B.E. / B.Tech./ B.Sc. Engineering / B.Arch with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a scale of 10 or equivalent.
Those appearing for final year examination of Masters or Bachelor's degree in Engineering are also eligible to apply.
However, they should complete the requirements before the prescribed date .

Scholarships of INR 30,000 Per month are offered in the first and second year of study.
While INR 35,000 Per month for the third and fourth year are offered.
An Annual Contingency Grant of INR 40,000 p.a is offered for purchase of books, stationery, journal subscription, professional annual membership fee.
For laptop purchase, INR 50,000 (one-time grant) is offered.
To attend National and International conferences a grant upto INR 1,50,000 during FPM course is also offered.

Initially, IIM Raipur shortlists the candidates based on the marks secured by them in the CAT examination. Then the candidates will be called for the personal interview (PI) process. the final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in the PI. The CAT examination consists of three sections namely Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Verbal and Reading Comprehension.

I was selected in all of the new IIMs. So, I went through the placement reports of all these colleges. I also looked into the fee structure and finally decided to join IIM Raipur since I thought that the ROI would be better if i join IIM Raipur. Also, the foreign exchange program of IIM Raipur is very good. It moved to its beautiful campus back in 2018. The infrastructure is great. All these factors made me join IIM Raipur.

Remarks

IIM Raipur is a part of the Common Admission Process(CAP) and considers CAT scores. I went through the placement report of IIM Raipur and compared every other IIMs of the same tier and I found it to be my best bet. Also, IIM Raipur has very good international relations which is a plus point for this college. It has a very beautiful campus and it has shifted back in 2018.

As a dream to get an MBA from one of the prestigious B schools of the country, I chose IIM Raipur. The admission process was initiated soon after the CAT results were declared. I had my CAP round interview on February 19th. The results of the CAP were declared during May 2020. I converted IIM Raipur to the first list on May 25th and various other colleges under CAP: IIM Jammu, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Kashipur, IIM Bodhgaya, and IIM Ranchi. I decided to go with IIM Raipur as I read multiple reviews and also saw myself aligned with the deliverables.

How does counselling take place?

Admissions are done on the basis of merit in entrance test for different courses and selection is done in levels. For final allotment selection is finalised on the basis of WAT or Written Ability Test and PI or Personal Interview.

Can I take admission in two courses at a time?

No, You can only pursue one course at time from IIM Raipur. Multiple course together are not allowed. You can pursue another course only after completion of the current course.

Has there been any change in exam procedure this year?

Any changes in the schedule or admission process will be informed and updated on the IIM official website. This year owing to COVID situation, interviews will be conducted in online mode, the instructions for whcih are available on the website.

Is the course fees same for NRI candidates?

No, Fees for NRI candidates are not same as Indian candidates as the overseas student is required to pay one-time refundable caution deposit. Apart from it Living and other expenses during the period of his/her stay are payable in Indian rupees which are extra.

No, All admissions are entrance based and IIM Raipur apply the Government of India reservation policy for admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs). The reservation policy clearly state that reservation are given on the basis of caste not from which State you belong.

No , work experience doesn't required for MBA program. Work experience is require for MBA executive program. All admissions are based on entrance followed by personal interview and For MBA admissions students also have to appear for WAT.

Original visa of the applicant if applicable
