Ans. The average placement package at DTU for a CSE undergraduate is 7-9 lakhs. But the average salary is not a decent parameter for judging the placements of any institute. As the calculation of average includes overseas placements as well. The package for those is in crores and that inflates the average amount.  On the other hand, there are also students who get placement packages below the average amount and there are also people who don’t appear for placements as they have plans for higher studies. However, medians are a better way to judge and the median for CSE at DTU is 9-10 lakhs.  In the most recent i.e. batch of 2020’s placement session, the highest package (domestic) for CSE students was 40 LPA and 122 students got placed from CSE alone. DTU has a very dedicated placement cell and thus, major companies like Amazon, Bain & Company, Bank of America, DE Shaw & Co visit the campus placement.   Read more

Admission to the ECE program at the institute is done based on the performance of the student in JEE Advanced and the minimum eligibility criteria for admission is 75% aggregate in 10+2. The course fee is 2.14 lakhs (1st-year course fee). ECE is a new branch in IIT Bhubaneswar. The first batch of ECE graduated in 2020. Before 2016, electrical engineering was a combination of EEE and ECE. In 2020, 97% of the students from ECE got the placements in many top MNCs.The average CTC offered was INR 15.8 LPA. However, the highest domestic CTC offered was around INR 43.3 LPA. DTU is ranked 2nd and 34th as the best technological university as per TES and NIRF. The admission to the program is done on the basis of the performance of the student in JEE Mains. The course fee for COE at DTU is 1.66 lakhs (1st-year fee). I chose DTU management branch which is located in east Delhi because it has a great ranking in india and even if apply for masters in abroad. Its faculty is the best all the professors are from IIT. The first batch passed out this year only and if i talk about getting jobs just after Graduation then for BBA no college like amity or IP is better than mine as In the first batch Itself nearly 40% got jobs that too highest pay being Rs 10,00,000 which is commendable

The new DTU campus is well connected by road. Facilities include a library, a computer centre, a sports complex, eight boys' hostels, six girls' hostels, and a married couples' hostel. The campus has residential facilities for faculty and staff. The campus has an auditorium and two open-air theatres out of which one is called the OAT (Open-air Theatre) and the other is called the Mini OAT (Mini open-air theatre).

There are many factors, the most important ones are as follows: Placement: DTU has a very decent placement record. Tata IQ, Maruti, Bain Capability Centre, ZS Associates, etc. are some of the regulars firms that hire students from DTU. They also offers very decent pakages of ranging from 6 to 12 LPA. Some MNCs like Toshiba, UniQlo, Daikin, even offers job locations out of India such as at Belguim, Japan. Infrastructure & Facilities: DTU has a very large Campus & wide variety of facilities. It has Health Centre, Computer Centre, Hostles, ATM (within campus), Canteens (Mic-Mac, Nescafe, Mech-C, Amul), Societies (NSS, Elixier, Pratibimb), Tech-Teams (UAS, Inferno, AUV,) & many more

The admission in this college starts in the month of July. It is done through the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC). There are 3 more colleges that come under JAC, namely NSUT, IGDTUW, and IIIT Delhi. The procedure of admission for all these colleges is the same. This college has a good campus life and a good placement too.

      DTU College Review

Admission to the University is based on Jee Mains rank and it generally starts from mid-July every year. There are a variety of courses that are offered, from Computer Science to Electrical to Mechanically related branches. It has one of the biggest and lush-green campuses across India. Everyone is quite innovative here. There's a healthy competition among students. It pushes you to work even harder. Every year no. of seat increases by 5-8%, and this might lead to a stiff competition so this could be a little turndown for some people. I used Collegedunia while selecting the College.
