DTU Admission 2027 uses a different test for each kind of programme. B.Tech seats are filled through your JEE Main 2027 rank and JAC Delhi counselling. B.Des admission is based on the UCEED 2027 score, and M.Des on the CEED 2027 score. BBA, BA (Hons) Economics and the five year Integrated B.Sc M.Sc use CUET UG 2027 scores. The MBA uses CAT 2026 or MAT, followed by a personal interview through CMAC. M.Tech admission is based on GATE, and M.Sc and MA Economics use CUET PG. B.Tech, BBA and BA (Hons) Economics keep 85% of seats for students who passed Class 12 in Delhi. The DTU registration fee is INR 1,500 for most forms.

DTU B.Tech Admission 2027

B.Tech is the largest programme at DTU, with 2,750 seats in 18 branches at the main campus on Bawana Road. Computer Science and Engineering alone has 462 seats. Admission is based on your JEE Main 2027 rank, and JAC Delhi gives out the seats. DTU does not hold its own test or interview for B.Tech. The first year fee for the 2026 batch was INR 2,69,700.

DTU B.Tech Eligibility 2027

You need 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths together in Class 12. You must also pass English and every other subject. OBC and Defence students need 55%, and SC, ST and PwD students need 50%. EWS students get no relaxation. You also need a JEE Main 2027 Paper 1 rank.

Delhi School of Management at DTU offers the MBA with 270 seats. Admission is done through CMAC (PG), a common counselling for MBA seats at Delhi state universities. You need a CAT 2026 score, or a MAT score if CAT students do not fill the seats. CAT 2026 is on 29 Nov 2026. The final merit list adds your CAT percentile and your interview marks.

DTU M.Tech Admission 2027

DTU offers M.Tech in 26 courses, with 663 full time seats in 12 departments. Admission is based on your GATE score. Students without GATE can take a DTU admission test, but not for courses in CSE, IT and Software Engineering. Each course also has 5 extra seats for sponsored students and 5 for part time students. GATE 2027 is on 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21 Feb 2027.

DTU M.Tech Eligibility 2027

You need a BE or B.Tech in a matching branch, or an M.Sc or MCA where the course allows it. General category students need 60% marks or the same CGPA. SC, ST and PwD students get 5% relaxation. DTU BBA Admission 2027

BBA is a four year programme at the University School of Management and Entrepreneurship. This school is on the DTU East Delhi Campus in Vivek Vihar. BBA has 180 seats, plus one seat each for a Kashmiri migrant and a single girl child. Admission is through CMAC (UG), using your CUET UG 2027 scores. There is no interview.

You need 50% in Class 12 from a recognised board, and you must pass English. OBC and Defence students get 5% relaxation, and SC, ST and PwD students get 10%. B.Des is a four year programme at the Department of Design on the main campus. Admission is based only on your UCEED 2027 score, with no DTU test or interview. UCEED 2027 is on 17 Jan 2027. Its registration with the normal fee closes on 31 Oct 2026. DTU then opens its own B.Des form in April.

so with 90 percentile your JEE rank is around 1,08,000–1,24,000. getting into DTU is possible but branch options are limited.

what you can realistically get at DTU with 90 percentile:

Chemical Engineering — decent chance
Civil Engineering — good chance
Biotechnology / Environmental Engg — strong chance
CSE / IT / Mech / ECE — not happening, those need 98–99 percentile

big thing most people miss — Delhi quota only applies if you studied class 11 and 12 from Delhi. not just if you live in Delhi. if you're from another state your cutoffs are way tighter. if you have Delhi quota and 90 percentile, lower branches are totally doable. if you don't, honestly weigh whether a better branch at a decent NIT beats DTU Chemical. also wait for later JAC rounds — cutoffs drop and seats open up!

NSUT and DTU are prestigious engineering colleges of Delhi. To get admission into any of them, you will have to clear the JEE Mains exam with a good All India rank.

After obtaining your rank and learning about the cutoffs for the year, you’ll have to fill out the JAC Delhi form. It is made available around the same time as the announcement of JEE Advanced. Here is the detailed procedure one needs to follow to get admission at DTU

Firstly you have to appear for JEE Mains paper-1 exam and qualify for the DTU cutoff
Next, register your account in JAC Delhi for which you will have to pay fees. This platform processes admission for 4 colleges namely DTU, NSUT, IGDTU, and IIIT Delhi.
Once you have entered all the details in JAC, you will have to fill in a choice filling form that has 27 options to choose from. Choose wisely because you will get branches according to this preference order only.
You will receive an allotment letter if you get selected in the first round. Before visiting the campus you will have to fill out another form on your JAC Delhi account. You will also have to pay fees to JAC Delhi and bring the receipt to the university.
Bring 4-5 copies of all the required documents. Once your documents are verified you will get an admission slip.
If you fail to get your choice in the first round, you will have to appear in the second round. Once you get a set in the second round you will virtually receive a new allotment letter.
This counseling will continue for 6 months after which you will have to pay the remaining fees to the allotted university.
