Should you pick MBA IEV at DTU?
This course suits students who want to build a venture or work in business roles in Delhi NCR.
Pick it if:
You want Delhi NCR business links: the campus is in Delhi, so guest talks, live projects and interviews are easier to attend.
You want a small MBA IEV batch: DTU lists 30 seats, so the class is smaller than its regular MBA.
You do not have a CAT score: CMAC uses graduation marks, a case study and an interview for this course.
You want the fee to fit the pay: INR 5.00 Lakhs is lower than one year of the printed MBA pay.
Skip it if:
You want a sales or finance MBA only: this course is built around venture ideas, not only regular manager jobs.
You need hostel surety before admission: MBA students may need a PG or rented room near the campus.
You count on every student getting placed: the printed MBA placement rate is 38%, so you must build your own profile.
You miss the fee payment date: CMAC moves the seat to the next student when payment is not made.
Counsellor's advice
Take it if you want venture roles and can use Delhi NCR. If you want a regular MBA only, compare the regular DTU MBA first.

In short
NSUT MBA IEV has more seats and a higher fee, while DTU costs INR 95,000 less. If both call you, pick by campus fit and interview comfort, because pay data is not published.
In short
NSUT regular management course has more seats and an easier CMAC close, but it is not the IEV course. If you want venture study, keep DTU first; if you want a regular MBA, compare that course closely.
In short
IGDTUW MBA costs much less and has more seats, but it is for women students. If that route fits you and fee matters most, compare it with DTU before paying.
In short
Delhi School of Business reports higher pay and full placement, but the fee is much higher. If you can pay for the private PGDM, compare the loan EMI with DTU first.
In short
FIIB Delhi shows higher pay than DTU but charges more than double the fee. If low cost matters, DTU stays ahead; if private PGDM placements matter more, compare interviews.
Fees and pay can change. Check each college site before you decide.
FAQs on DTU MBA IEV
Straight answers to what students ask before they decide.
Is DTU MBA IEV worth the fee?▾
Yes, if you want venture roles or business jobs in Delhi NCR. The full fee without hostel is INR 5.00 Lakhs and the printed MBA pay is INR 7.6 LPA, so the fee is not heavy against pay. Check the EMI in the fee block before you use a loan.
Should I take DTU MBA IEV if I am near rank 30?▾
Yes, but do not depend on rank 30 alone. The first DTU selected list had 30 seats, while the wait list and special spot moved only when seats were empty. Keep every paper ready and pay the first fee fast if your name is called.
What job can I get after MBA IEV at DTU?▾
You can aim for business, analytics, product, consulting, sales and venture roles. The page uses INR 7.6 LPA pay and 38% placement for the MBA data, so you should build your own profile early. Use the Delhi NCR location for live projects and interviews.
Who should pick MBA IEV at DTU?▾
Pick it if you want to build a venture, join a start-up team or work in business roles. The course has 30 seats, so it is smaller than the regular MBA. It suits students who can handle case work and interviews better than a CAT-score route.
Who should skip MBA IEV at DTU?▾
Skip it if you want only a regular finance, HR or sales MBA. The IEV course is centred on innovation and venture development, so the fit matters. Also skip it if you need hostel surety before paying, because many MBA students may plan PG rooms nearby.
Is MBA IEV better than regular MBA at DTU for me?▾
It depends on your goal. MBA IEV is better if you want venture work and a smaller 30-seat batch. A regular MBA may suit you better if you want a wider management degree. Read the course structure and ask the school before paying the first fee.
Is DTU MBA IEV good for placements?▾
It is decent, but you should not treat placement as automatic. The printed MBA data on this page is INR 7.6 LPA pay and 38% placement. That means your internships, live projects and interview practice matter a lot. Start building your CV in the first semester.
Should I wait one year for a better MBA option?▾
Wait only if you have a clear plan to improve your profile or exam score. DTU MBA IEV does not need CAT, and it uses graduation marks, case study and interview. If this course fits your venture goal and fee plan, taking the seat can be better than waiting without a target.
Can I get DTU MBA IEV without CAT?▾
Yes. The CMAC MBA IEV guidelines use graduation marks, case study, personal interview and diversity marks. CAT is not the route printed for this course. Make sure you meet the 50% bachelor degree rule, or 40% if you are SC, ST or PwD.
What is the full fee for DTU MBA IEV?▾
The full two-year fee without hostel is INR 5.00 Lakhs. The living-cost toggle takes it to INR 6.60 Lakhs with the estimate used on this page. The official fee rows are in the fee block above, so check them before you arrange the demand draft.
Can I pay DTU MBA IEV fees in parts?▾
Yes, the published fee is split across two academic years. The first year fee was INR 2.48 Lakhs and the second year fee was INR 2.53 Lakhs for the listed batch. If you need a smaller split, ask the fee office before the payment date.
Which scholarships can reduce DTU MBA IEV fees?▾
SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS and low-income students should check the scholarship block above. The page shows awards from INR 40,000 to INR 2 Lakhs. Keep income, category and Delhi papers ready because most schemes need them before they pay.
The college achieved excellent placement outcomes, with almost every student securing a job and an average annual salary of Rs. 7,00,000. Companies like KPMG, Deloitte, and JK Tyre were among the prominent recruiters. The internship opportunities were significant, with firms such as Decathlon and Flipkart offering positions that many students converted into Pre-Placement Offers. The first-year course fee is INR 2,06,000, with a projected 10% increase for the second year, totaling INR 4,17,000 for the two-year program.
While merit-based scholarships are available, no personal financial aid was used. Student loans can be accessed through the SBI DCE branch on the DTU Rohini campus. The college is recognized for its outstanding incubation center, which supports startup initiatives with facilities and funding. Although the course is entrepreneurship-focused and does not include placement assistance, the master's program fee of approximately INR 4,00,000 over two years is competitive compared to typical MBA programs, and the college maintains a strong placement record.

DTU: 2 Answered Questions
Should I opt for DTU mechanical or IIIT Delhi CSE?
Sanjana KapoorLives in New Delhi
The choice depends on what matters the most to you.
If placements, faculty and research opportunities are your top most priority, choose IIIT Delhi CSE. In this respect, IIITD CSE beats DTU Mechanical by a large margin. But if you want the best of campus, college environment, cultural fests and brand name, DTU Mechanical is a much better choice.
I would personally recommend IIIT Delhi, as it offers top notch placements. But if you’re truly passionate about Mechanical, choose that branch. Do not take your interest for granted while choosing your branch/degree.
Are courses in DTU and NSIT flexible? Can students from lower branches study a minor in C.S. easily?
Akriti Banerjeelives in New Delhi
As an NSUT student, the new CBCS (choice based credit system) allows you to choose your fields of study. This makes for more flexible courses. Also, NSUT has an excellent coding environment which will help you for your minor in Computer Science. Many students over there pursue coding, despite being from a branch other than IT/COE.
In DTU, you will have electives starting from 5th semester. These are department and general electives. IIIT Delhi offers the most flexible courses. Other than some fixed category credits, all the subjects are choice based.
Thus, in terms of providing flexible courses, this is the order of preference- IIITD> NSUT>DTU.
