Ques. What is the total fee for the Ph.D. in IT at DTU?
Ans. The total academic fee for the three-year full-time PhD in Information Technology at DTU is INR 65,100. Year 1 costs INR 33,700 and each of Year 2 and Year 3 costs INR 15,700. This covers tuition, examination, and other academic charges. Hostel accommodation at DTU is optional and billed separately. SC/ST students domiciled in Delhi may claim fee reimbursement through the Delhi Government Post-Matric Scholarship scheme.
Ques. Which entrance exams are accepted for DTU’s Ph.D. in Information Technology?
Ans. DTU accepts a valid UGC NET score (with or without JRF) in Computer Science and Applications or a relevant paper, a GATE score in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT) papers, or a CSIR NET score in a related subject. Candidates without a qualifying score may appear in the DTU Research Entrance Test. All shortlisted candidates are called for a written test and interview at the Department of Information Technology.
