Remarks :

This college is best according to my ACPC rank(847) and it is very strict against ragging. All the faculties are very regular and they complete whole syllabus. This University is not good in infrastructure and other activities. Placements are good in MNCs.

Placement Experience :

Placements are good in top branch. Many MNCs are visited in campus because many companies has MOUs with college. In computer branch average packages is 3 to 4 lacs per annual. Maximum package is up to 7 lacs per annual.

Placement Experience :

There are many companies is a visit to our college like in chemical engineering RELIANCE, SR, NIRMA and many more but placements are around 36 out of 120 students in 2020 so placement is very bed. So around 30 percent student is placed.

Remarks :

Our college is best for education but is no other activity in our chemical engineering department placement is very low based on the last year because of in the last year the number of students is 120 and in previous years student is 60 so in the last year placement is very low around 36 out of 120. The admission process is very easy though ACPC in Gujrat board and the first day of college is around in July. Yes, this collage structure is very old. The small campus in our college no freshers and no other activities.

Remarks :

I wanted to be a computer engineer but the ranking were way too high for computer branch and IT is in line with the computer branch. Also the city is a green city with a low population.College placements are way too good.Faculties are very generous and helpful.

Placement Experience :

Companies like 42Gears Mobility Systems, crest datasystems, Amazon, Infosys, TCS and a lot more visited the campus. They mainly offered the role of software engineer, qa and internal product manager. Overall placement process was good and job opportunities in Gujarat are great. Job referrals weren't many! There is no entrepreneur cell but they support us in all the ways.

Admission :

The institute is famous for study method, exams, professor and placement. I opted admission by ACPC merrit list. I had 4 options. My merit number was 425. I filled 4-5 colleges in list L.D, V.G.E.C, B.V.M, Changa, DDU. At that time mechanical engineering was in high demand.

Placement Experience :

Placement cell is providing good amount of chances. Particularly in mechanical field, I got chance for relaince, Adani, KHS, GNFC, RSPL, likes 10-15. Around 40% placement in mechanical field at my time. In most of case company sent mail to placement deaprtment of college then base on company criteria students are allowed to for placement. College is famous for it/computer engineering. In that field around 90% placement is provided by college.

Ques. Which is better: Nirma IT or DDIT (DDU Nadiad) for CE (self-finance)?

● Top Answer By Danish Singh on 27 May 21

Ans. Nirma University IT is preferable to Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology (DDIT) of Dharmsinh Desai University (DDU) Nadiad for CE (self-finance). But then it depends on your passion and career growth opportunities. Let us compare both the universities in detail. Placements – Categories Nirma University DDU Course Fee 7.24 lakh 6.08 lakh Placement Percentage 70-80% 90% Highest CTC 47 LPA 30 LPA Average CTC 7-9 LPA 4.5-5.5 LPA Recruiting Companies Nvidia, L&T, TCS, Google, etc. Capgemini, Cybage, DCM Technologies, Amazon, etc. Nirma University is considered the best in Gujarat. It has labs equipped with wifi and internet, library and all other facilities.  Sports facilities at Nirma University are also better than DDU.  The only drawback of Nirma University is that it lacks a hostel for B.Tech students. It is offered only to postgraduate students. The biggest cultural and technical festival, Horizon, is much better than Felicific, the festival of DDU. DDU is better than Nirma University, as it has a mandatory attendance of 75% as opposed to 85% at Nirma University.  The mess food should be average and almost the same in both the colleges.  So considering all these points, Nirma University makes for a much better choice among the two.Read more

A maximum number of students gets placed in mass recruiters like TCS and Infosys. Ques. What should I do? I am confused on where I should take admission in Gujrat. Should I choose Nirma University, L.D. College or Dharmsinh Desai University? Which branch, CE or IT?

● Top Answer By Deboleena Roy on 20 Jan 21

Ans. Among the above institutes, an aid seat of Dharmsinh Desai University in CE would be the best option. The following table gives the order of preference that a candidate should choose among the list of selected institutes. Preference Institute Department 1 Dharmsinh Desai University CE (aid seat) 2 Nirma University CSE 3 Dharmsinh Desai University CE (self-financed) 4 Dharmsinh Desai University IT 5 L.D. College CE or IT Highlights supporting the above order of preference are discussed below. CE is preferred over IT because CE (or CSE) contains more subjects, especially hardware and electronics papers. Also, placements in CE are better than IT, in most institutes. Dharmsinh Desai University has a better faculty and teaching curriculum than Nirma University. A DIA (aid seat) in DDU has minimal fees too, so it is advised to choose first. If you want to go for future studies in India or abroad, DDU and LD would be the better option. In terms of placement and exposure, NIRMA leads in most cases among the above three. So, if you are just interested in placement, NIRMA is the better choice. Overall Dharmsinh Desai University has the maximum advantages. Read more
