IIT Gandhinagar Scholarship 2026

IIT Gandhinagar offers a variety of scholarships and financial aid options aimed at supporting students from different backgrounds. Scholarships are provided on merit-based, need-based, and category-based criteria, including central and state-funded programs. The Merit Cum Means (MCM) scholarship, for instance, targets academically strong students. SC/ST/PWD students receive a complete tuition fee waiver, while general and OBC category students can avail themselves of various scholarships based on family income, with full or partial tuition fee waivers.

For families earning below INR 2.5 lakh annually, a full waiver is provided, and for those earning between INR 2.5 lakh and 5 lakh, a two-thirds waiver is available. The tuition fee per semester is INR 1,00,000, with additional costs for hostel, mess, and other facilities bringing the total to approximately INR 1,46,588 per semester. Several scholarships like the TATA Motors Limited Financial Aid program and research travel grants such as the Atlas Research Travel Grant are also available.

Students can also benefit from on-campus employment opportunities and interest-free education loans.
