NIT Srinagar Scholarship 2026

NIT Srinagar provides numerous scholarships primarily funded by the central and state governments, tailored for students from SC/ST categories, economically weaker sections, and minorities. Students with family income below INR 1 lakh receive a 100% tuition fee waiver, while those earning between INR 1-5 lakh get a two-thirds waiver. For students with income above INR 5 lakh, the full tuition fee applies, which is approximately INR 65,000 per semester. The institute facilitates applications for several scholarships, including the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and the Ministry of Minority Affairs (MOMA) scholarship, which often covers annual tuition fees.
