Christ University is a deemed private university. It is the first indigenous Syrian Catholic religious congregation in India. The University is specifically known for its undergraduate courses and has ranked among the top ten for UG courses in surveys done by the India Today group.
The university was ranked at the 84th position by the Outlook-ICARE Top 100 University Rankings. It was ranked at the 81-85th position by QS India Rankings 2020.

The Week Rankings
THE WEEK has been conducting the Best Colleges Survey in association with Hansa Research since 2009 to rank the top colleges in India.
“The Institute of Management, Christ University Bangalore has been ranked 12th in arts, 8th in commerce and 16th in science, nationally in the Week Rankings 2019.”
As many as 1,043 academic experts, 2,460 current students, 953 aspiring students and 30 recruiters took part in the primary survey. The sample was selected ensuring proper representation of all cities and disciplines. Perceptual and factual scores were calculated.
National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), launched in 2015 by the Ministry of HRD, is used to rank the Indian Institutions across the country. Presently, Christ University has not been ranked at any position by NIRF 2019.
Dalal Street Investment Journal Rankings
“Dalal Street Investment Journal Ranking placed Christ University at forty seventh position in India’s Top 100 B-Schools ranking 2019”.
The B-Schools were ranked on the basis of various parameters like fees, placements, location, inclination towards entrepreneurship, development programmes, faculty education, average packages offered during placement drives, and the ability of the schools to engage students in research, as also giving them industry exposure, and based on these scores were given to each institution.
