Ques. What is the minimum work experience required for IIM Indore EPGP?
Ans. Candidates must have at least 5 years of full-time post-graduation work experience in a managerial, professional, or entrepreneurial capacity as of the application deadline. The experience must be accumulated after completing the qualifying degree and is verified through official documentation during the admissions process.
Ques. Does IIM Indore EPGP accept only CAT scores for admission?
Ans. No. IIM Indore EPGP accepts CAT 2025 or CAT 2026 scores, as well as valid GMAT or GRE scores taken within 5 years of the application deadline. Candidates may apply using whichever test score they find most competitive. International applicants typically apply with GMAT or GRE.
Ques. What was the average placement package for the EPGP 2025 batch?
Ans. The EPGP 2025 batch at IIM Indore recorded an average package of INR 23.5 LPA and a highest package of INR 47 LPA. Over 55 recruiters made offers to 62 students across consulting, finance, product management, and project management roles. Key recruiters included Microsoft, Axis Bank, Accenture, and ICICI Bank.
Ques. Is IIM Indore EPGP a residential programme or can it be done online?
Ans. EPGP is a full-time, residential, one-year programme conducted entirely at the IIM Indore campus in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Participants are expected to be present on campus for the full programme duration. There is no part-time or online variant of this programme currently available.
Ques. What is the selection process and weightage for IIM Indore EPGP?
Ans. The EPGP selection uses a composite scoring model. The standardised test (CAT / GMAT / GRE) accounts for 50% of the score, the Personal Interview contributes 45%, and a diversity factor accounts for the remaining 5%. Shortlisted candidates are called for mandatory PI before a final offer is made.
Ques. Are education loans available for IIM Indore EPGP students?
Ans. Yes. IIM Indore students can avail education loans up to INR 40 Lakhs from banks such as SBI and Central Bank of India without requiring tangible collateral. A Need-Based Financial Assistance scheme is also available for students whose annual family income is below INR 9 Lakhs, applicable from the time of enrolment.
