IIM Indore Admission 2027 has a different process for each programme. For the two year MBA and the MBA HRM, admission is based on CAT 2026, followed by a personal interview. IIM Indore is the convening institute for CAT 2026, and the exam is on 29 Nov 2026. For the five year IPM, you apply after Class 12 and take the IPM Aptitude Test set by IIM Indore. Working professionals can join the One Year MBA at Indore or the Weekend MBA at the Mumbai campus. Ph.D admission has its own form, a test score and an interview. IIM Indore has no management quota, so every seat is given from a merit list.
IIM Indore MBA Admission 2027
The two year MBA is the main programme at IIM Indore, and the campus calls it the PGP. In 2026, 487 students joined the MBA batch. Admission is based on CAT 2026, then a personal interview. The interview alone counts for 45% of the final score. The course fee for the 2026-28 batch is INR 24 Lakhs.
IIM Indore MBA Eligibility 2027
You need a bachelor's degree with 50% marks, or 45% if you are SC, ST or PwD. A CA, CS, CMA or actuary qualification with the same marks also works. You can apply in your final year. IIM Indore sets no minimum for Class 10 or Class 12, but those marks count in the shortlist.

First, fill the CAT 2026 form and choose the IIM Indore MBA in it. There is no extra form and no extra fee. If your CAT percentiles clear the minimum, IIM Indore ranks you for an interview call. The shortlist comes out in January. You then face a personal interview, and offers are made from a merit list for each category.

IIM Indore MBA HRM Admission 2027
MBA HRM is a two year MBA in human resource management, called the PGP-HRM on campus. It has a smaller class, and 43 students joined in 2026. Admission is based on CAT 2026, with its own minimum percentiles and its own merit list. The course fee for the 2026-28 batch is INR 20.7 Lakhs.
IIM Indore MBA HRM Eligibility 2027
The degree rule is the same as the MBA. You need 50% in graduation, or 45% if you are SC, ST or PwD. The CAT minimum is lower in maths and data, but higher in verbal ability. General students need 75 percentile in verbal ability and 90 overall.

IIM Indore IPM Admission 2027
The IPM is a five year programme for students who have just finished Class 12. When you finish, you get two degrees: a BA in Foundations of Management and an MBA. You can also leave after three years with the BA. In 2026, 30,203 students applied and 156 joined.

IIM Indore calls its full time Ph.D the Doctoral Programme in Management. You choose one of nine areas, such as finance, marketing or economics. The planned number of seats for 2026 was 34, and 25 scholars joined. You get a monthly stipend and a free room on campus.

Short answers to what students ask before they apply.
Is there negative marking in the IPM Aptitude Test?▾
Yes, in two of the three sections. A wrong answer costs you 1 mark in the maths multiple choice and the verbal sections. The short answer maths section has no negative marking, so try every question there.
Can I choose the order of the sections in the test?▾
No. Every student answers the sections in the same fixed order, and each section has its own 40 minute timer. You cannot go back to a section once its time is over.
What score do I need to reach the interview?▾
You need a raw score above zero in every section and the section minimum for your category. In 2026, General students needed 28 in short answer maths, 27 in maths multiple choice and 111 in verbal ability.
Why does verbal ability matter so much in the IPM?▾
In the interview shortlist score, verbal ability counts for half, and each maths section counts for a quarter. So a strong verbal score can lift you a lot. Read daily and practise grammar and comprehension.
Do I need maths in Class 12 for the IPM?▾
No subject rule is printed in the 2026 notice. Students from commerce, science and arts all joined in 2026. The test has two maths sections, so you should still practise Class 10 and Class 11 maths well.
