Ques. I am a government school teacher in Madhya Pradesh but have not done D.El.Ed. Is it mandatory for me to complete it?

Ques. Can a private school teacher in Madhya Pradesh apply for D.El.Ed at MPBOU?
Ans. Yes, teachers working in recognised private schools in Madhya Pradesh are also eligible to apply for D.El.Ed at MPBOU, provided they meet the eligibility criteria (10+2 with 50% marks and 2 years of teaching experience). The key requirement is that the school must be a recognised institution. Teachers should obtain a service certificate from their school principal/management to submit during the application process.
Ques. What is the difference between D.El.Ed and B.Ed? Which one should I pursue?
Ans. D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) qualifies you to teach at the elementary level (Classes 1 to 8), while B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) qualifies you to teach at the secondary level (Classes 9 to 12). If you are currently teaching or wish to teach at the primary/upper primary level, D.El.Ed is the appropriate qualification. If you want to teach at the secondary or senior secondary level, B.Ed is required. Both are NCTE-approved qualifications and are mandatory for their respective teaching levels.
