Established in 1982, Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences is a deemed University. Krishna Institute of Medical Sciencesoffers UG and PG courses in Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy, Nursing and Biotechnology. It also runs Ph.D. programs in Anatomy, Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Microbiology and Nursing.
Besides these, Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) also offers PG diploma programs in Orthopedics, Child Health, Medical Radio Diagnosis, Legal System, Anesthesia and Obstetrics and Gynecology. For admission to PhD course, candidates are selected on the basis of the entrance exam followed by interview process conducted by the University.
Those candidates who have passed the NET/SET/GATE/JRF/M. Phil or UGC/CSIR/NBHM fellows are exempted from the entrance test. However, such candidates shall have to go through the presentation and interview process also. The entrance test for PhD and Post-Doctoral Fellowship shall have 50% of Research Methodology & 50 % of subject Specific.
Application form for PhD & Post-Doctoral Fellowship can be downloaded from website and submitted along with the D.D. of INR 1500 /- in favor of KIMS University, Payable at Karad. Candidates will have to send the synopsis of the research work along with the application form.

2. Statement of marks of 10th and 12th examination.
3. NEET UG 2016 Exam Admit Card and Result.
4. Leaving/Transfer Certificate.
5. Migration Certificate and Conduct and Character Certificate from a responsible person.
6. Gap Certificate (wherever applicable).
7. Certificate of Medical Fitness.
8. Caste validity Certificate (if applicable).
9. Six recent passport size photographs with your names written on backside.
For Super Specialty Courses: Application form can be downloaded from the official website and submitted along with a DD of INR 3000/-. Application form can be obtained from University office or by post / Courier by sending a DD of INR 1100 /- (All DD should be drawn, in favor of “Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences University (KIMS)” payable at Karad)
Duly filled application should be submitted at the University Office in person or by registered post. The candidates must produce all required original certificates at the time of Counseling and at the time of admission. A set of attested photocopy of each of the document should be submitted, as per the list given below.
For PhD and Post-Doctoral Fellowship: Application form for Ph.D & Post-Doctoral Fellowship can be downloaded from the official website and submitted along with the D.D. of INR 1500 /- in favor of KIMS University, Payable at Karad.
