Shivaji University Kolhapur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As of I am in final year now and just passed in second year , I don't have enough information about placements , however , the placement is good the package range is 1.5lpa to 7 lpa , but if you want to apply externally , then you have to work on improving skills as the course cannot be enough for external placements .

the placement was not good but still, we trying to get job in 2024 Tata. and Mahindra. gandi metallics and more 2 company visited they offer to 10000 to 25000 per month I think 3.5 lakh was the highest package lot of students are placed but they do not join because of payments

College placement is decent with average packages of 3,50,000 lpa and the highest package is 18,00,000 and 75-80% for assurity of placement is available at the college. You can also apply out of campus for greater experience facilities help you to explore.

Students are eligible for placement from around 5th semester and can do internships too. Companies like Capgemini, TCS, Cogizant etc etc visited our campus and packages they offered were around 2.5LPA. The highest package was around 4LPA and average package was 2LPA. 40-50% students get placements. I think placements cell should be improved and more companies should come in our college. My plan after degree is to study and not thinki of placements Right now

There are so many ofbthe options to choose from including Yoga, Personality development, meditation, digital marketing and many more. We have the full right to choose our choice of subject but sometimes they provide subject by their own.

The one good thing that I like about this college is Placements.Because college is providing good placements.The Placement of this college is about 70-80% .companies like tata power,Adani power ,Cloud4c, Wipro pari, TCS,Infosys,etc visiting the college every year .The average package is 4.5lpa/yr

1. students are eligible for placement in 2nd year. 2. companies like L&T, DARR, Spectrum etc. 3. 100% placement in years 2023-24 4. you can also opt for a doctorate, fellowship, government examination, or off-campus placement.

Course was excellent for a first year student. Seniors are fully supportive you can call or text them any time you want they will definitely help you. The time given for examination was also good enough to complete the paper while some faculties are also there who makes the paper very much lengthy in order that many students fail to pass that particular course (for example mechanics ????)

The couse provides a comprehensive knowledge about all the subjects that are in included is inside the course. But what I really believe is the learning is still more theoretical and less experimental. The students get to know the concepts pretty easily but they are not able to apply it in real problems. This has to be improved, moreover the teaching style is way too old fashioned. The knowledge has to be transmitted in such a way that students learning through application. Students should be taught to apply the concepts first and wherever they get stuck the teachers should help.

The subjects in this course are desinged much better for the students who want to make progress in IT field The Curriculum teaches us how to apply our knowledge in the real world problems to solve them The college conducts an mid semester exam after 3 months of semester and an End Semester exam after 6 month
