I choose Mechanical Engineering because I love the design and analysis of mechanical systems, integration of IOT in vehicles, etc Interested in making career in CAD CAM CAE EVs and PLM domain The student ratio is good for this year 2022-23 Most of the faculties are IIT & PhD scholars New faculties are recruited in the academic year 2022-23

Instrumentation is a hybrid branch of electrical engineering mechanical engineering and computer and electronics engineering. This branch is mostly related to monitoring and control of processes in the industry That's what you will learn in this course

The Electronics and Telecommunication Branch covers both hardware and software aspects. Nearly all the faculties are PHD qualified and have a ratio of 1 teacher per 20 students. Also, they have the best teaching methods. we have four exams per semester.

They is fair placement opportunities in the college After 6th semester everyone is eligible for placements Average package is around 5Lpa Highest this year 10.5 lpa so far but off-campus last year goes up to 40-50lpa but it's only offered to 2-3 students

I chose Chemical Engineering. This is an interesting course as it is a very versatile course. All industries have something or the other related to chemical engineering. It is often a myth to compare Chemistry to Chemical Engineering, as these two are totally different. Exams are divided into 20 Mids, 10-10 Internals and 50 marks final paper. Papers are moderately difficult depending upon preparation, and since SGGS is an autonomous institute, the professors only ask questions based on the curriculum they have covered.

I chose the course because I found it a better alternative to computer science and I didn't have many marks for CS thus, I opted for this branch. There's a 1:12 ratio of faculty and students. The senior faculty are chill and have good knowledge of research. The junior faculty is not that good.

sggs is famouse for electronics and telecommunication and intrumentation branch. beacause of faculty and teaching quality . there are 50%iit professors .tacking about faculty qualification all are phd completed . examination conducted properly and strictly .if you attend daily lectures you can easily pass exam .

The percentage of students getting placed is quite remarkable. More the 80 % of students get placed annually. Especially the textile and Instrumentation branch. After the degree, I am preparing for the GATE for my higher education.

This year because of the recession and other factors such as lack of connectivity, the placements are not that good. The students of final year with a minimum CGPA of 6.00 in all the semesters are allowed to sit in placement. Till now, ZOHO corporation has taken candidates for an internship with PPOs of 7-8 Lpa, fox India, Honeywell, and Hexaware have visited the colleges.
